dc.description.abstract | ÖZET Yaşlan 14-21 ± 1.963 olan 24 bayan ve 15-24 ± : 2.508 olan 42 erkek sporcu üzerinde vücut yoğunluğu, yağ %, YK, YHK ve YHK %'leri için regresyon formülü geliştirilmiştir. Her iki grup içinde farklı hidrostatik tartım, rezidüal volüm ve Siri ile Brozek ve arkadaşları protokollerinin farklı şekiller de birleşmesine bağlı olarak; 4 farklı vücut yoğunluğu, 8 farklı Y %, YK, YHK ve YHK % protokolü ortaya çıkmıştır. Her protokol için ayrı ayrı çoklu regresyon formülü geliştirilmiştir. Elde edilen protokollerin saha koşullarında kullanılıp kullanılamayacağım belirlemek için, antro- pometrik ölçümler antrenörlere de aldırılmış ve güvenirlilikleri test edilmiştir. Hidrostatik tartımla farklı protokollere göre elde edilen bir kısım vücut yoğunluğu, Y %, YK, YHK ve YHK % arasında 0.05 düzeyinde fark görülmüştür. Uzman kişilerle antrenörlerin aldığı an- tropometrik ölçümlerde, el bileği çevresi haricinde 0.05 düzeyinde fark görülmüştür. dc.description.abstract | SUMMARY STUDY OF BODY COMPOSITION PARAMETERS IN ATHLETES Body density, fat % (Y%), fat weight (YK), fat free weight (YHK), and fat free mass % (YHK%) were measured and regression equations are estabilished in 24 female athletes between the ages of 14-21 ± 1.963, and in 42 male athletes between the ages of 15-24 ± 2.508. For both group of subjects 4 different body density, and 8 different Y%, YK, YHK, and YHK% protocols were used due to different combinations of methods in hydrostatic weighing, residual volume determination and in using Brozek et al and Siri's formulaes. For each protocol a separate multiple regression equation has been established. Applicability of the protocols in field situation was tested by having some of the coaches taking the anthropometric measurements for reliability. Some of the body density, Y%, YK, YHK and YHK% protocols showed within group variability at 0.05 significance level. Except for the wrist circumference, all the anthropometric measurements taken by the tester and the coaches showed inter group differences at 0.05 significance level.
