ÖZET Bu çalışmada, L-glutamik asidin cıva(II) ve altın(III) ile oluştur duğu komplekslerin kararlılık sabitleri Calvin-Bjerrum ve Irwing-Rossotti yöntemleri kullanılarak potansiyometrik yoldan tayin edildi. Protonlanma ve buna bağlı olarak asit sabitleri; logKj = pK3 = 9,17 (NH3+); logK2 = pK2 = 3,95 (COOH); logK3 = pK1 = 2,06 (COOH) olarak bulundu. Olu şum sabitleri ise 1 = 0,22 ve 25°C de civa(II) için log03 = 21,13; altın(III) için log/J3 = 25,2 3 olarak bulundu. Oluşan komplekslerin koşullu oluşum sabitleri hesaplandı ve buradan kompleksleşmenin ortaya çıktığı pH aralık ları bulundu. Altın(IIl) ve cıva(II) komplekslerinin bileşimleri Metal/Li- gand=l/3 olarak bulundu ve bunların yapıları tartışıldı. | |

SUMMARY THE INVESTIGATION OF STABILITY OF L-GLUTAMIC ACID GOLD(III) AND MERCURY(II) COMPLEXES BY POTENTIOMETRIC METHOD The stability constants of the complexes which were formed L-glutamic acid with mercury(II), gold(III) were determined potentiometrically by using CALVIN-BJERRUM and IRWING-ROSSOTTI methods, in this work. The protonation constants or dissociation constants of the ligand were found as logKj or pK3 = 9,17 (NH3+)= as logK2 or pK2 = 3,95 (COOH); as logK3 or pK1 = 2,06 (COOH) at 25°C and for 1 = 0,22. Also the overall formation constants of complexes were found as log/?3 = 21,13 for mercury(II); as log03 = 25,23 for gold(III) at 25°C and for 1 = 0,22. The conditional formation constants and the formation pH ranges of complexes were determined. The composition of mercury(II) and gold(III) complexes were determined as metal/ligand = 1/3 and discussed. | en_US |
