Abstract

230 ABSTRACT Sports ıs a social event that has economic and cultural dimension. For this reason it's accepted as one of the most important social events of the century. The developed and developing countries are endedvaring the sport that is dropping alogn behind big grops, to generalize and make people love it. In this research, sport managment has been mentioned sperf icial ly ; in planned and unplanned periods, sports and spor t fondutions attudute were accepted. The research in Manisa has been made in order to find out the numerical positions of sport fondations; the fondations role in the benefit of grop sports; what kind of abilities do the country pepople have; in which branches they fain condensatran in their wishes and interests and the countrey peoples hopes. In order to reach these arms; an inquiry, including 400 people living in Manisa and 21 questions; has been made. It's condenstood from the inquiry that most of the people have interest in sports but mostly to football, voleyball, basketball, wrestling and judo fallow this. The lock of sport saloons cause people be more interested231 mostly in football. And we know they if the sport saloons were built, people in Manisa, would be more interested in saloon sports from the formation we had we see that the interestments made for sports are not enough to covert the recessit les. During are research; we have seen that there is a big potentiol of sports and sportsman; but the people and the establishments do not have enough knowledge and equpments do lead this potintial. Besides these we had seen that the saloons and the region's sports ground don't satisfy the needs of the conutry people. In Manisa there must be at lost 2 saloons and as the other hard the districts; developing whit it's population growth, economic, physical; most have are saloon. While these saloons are being made, the regions where have schools the climotic conditions and the geographical structure must be taken in consendiration. And also they must be made according to the pepoles interest.
