dc.description.abstract | ivÖZETPolyester liflerinin bugünkü yapilari ile ilk olarak 1940'li yillarda üretilip pazarasunulmalarindan bu yana, dünya tekstil sektöründeki kullanim trendleri artmistir vebundan sonrada ayni egilimin devam edecegi öngörülmektedir. Polyester liflerininboya-terbiye sektöründeki proses sartlarinin iyilestirilmesi, yeni boyamayöntemlerinin gelistirilmesi ve boyama islemleri sirasinda kullanilan dispersboyarmaddelerin sentezi üzerine yapilan çalismalar halen devam etmektedir.Bu tez çalismasinda, %100 polyester kumaslarin dispers boyarmaddeler ile boyamayöntemlerinin performanslari karsilastirilmis ve farkliliklarin ortaya konulmasiamaçlanmistir. Bu kapsamda, sektörde en fazla uygulanan HT, Carrier, Termosolboyama yöntemleri ve son yillarda polyester liflerinin alkali ortamda boyanabilirligiüzerine yapilan arastirmalar dikkate alinarak, HT-Alkali boyama yöntemi ile boyamadenemeleri yapilmistir. Çalismada, azo ve antrakinon esasli dispers boyarmaddelerile iki farkli % 100 polyester kumas, HT-Asidik, HT-Alkali, Carrier ve Termosolboyama yöntemlerine göre boyanmistir. Carrier boyama yönteminde iki farkli carrierile boyama denemeleri gerçeklestirilmistir.HT-Asidik, HT-Alkali, Carrier ve Termosol boyama yöntemleri ile boyanannumunelerin renk verimi ve renk farklarinin ölçümleri yapilmis ve sonuçlaristatistiksel olarak analiz edilmistir. Bunun yani sira, HT-Asidik boyama yöntemi ileboyanan numuneler standart olarak ele alinmis, diger yöntemler kullanilarak boyanannumunelerle arasindaki âL*, âa*, âb*, âC* ve âH* degerleri bulunmus ve eldeedilen renk özellikleri yorumlanmistir.Çalismada uygulanan boyama yöntemleri, alkali ve asidik ter, isik, yikama, kuru veyas sürtünme renk hasliklari açisindan karsilastirilmis ve sonuçlar istatistiksel olarakanaliz edilmistir.Ayrica, yapilan boyama denemeleri sonunda HT-Asidik ve HT-Alkali boyamayöntemleri ile boyanan kumaslar kopma mukavemeti ve % kopma uzamasi açisindankarsilastirilmis ve elde edilen sonuçlar istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmistir.ANAHTAR KELIMELER : Carrier, Dispers Boyarmadde, HT, Polyester,Termosol | |
dc.description.abstract | vABSTRACTThe trend in the use of polyester fibers has been increasing in the world textile sectorsince their first production and introduction into the markets in 1940?s and it isanticipated that this trend will continue to increase. The studies on improving theprocess conditions in the polyester fiber dyeing and finishing sector, developing newdyeing methods and the synthesis of disperse dyestuff used in dyeing are stillcontinuing.In this thesis study, the performances of dyeing methods applied on 100% polyesterfabrics using disperse dyestuff are compared and the differences are aimed to bedetermined. In this scope, considering the dyeing methods mostly employed in thissector: HT, Carrier, Thermosol and the investigations recently conducted ondyeability of polyester fabrics in alkaline medium, dyeing experiments were carriedout by using HT-Alkali dyeing method. In this study, two distinct 100% polyesterfabrics were dyed based on the methods of HT-Acidic, HT-Alkali, Carrier andThermosol using azo and anthraquinone dyestuff. In Carrier dyeing method,experiments were accomplished by using two different carriers.Measurements of color efficiency and color differences were conducted on thesamples, dyed by the methods of HT-Acidic, HT-Alkali, Carrier and Thermosol andthe results were evaluated by using different statistical approaches. Besides, takingthe samples dyed by the method of HT-Acidic as the standard, the values of ?L*,?a*, ?b*, ?C* and ?H* were obtained by comparing the output of other methodsand the color properties were interpreted.The dyeing methods practiced in this study were compared in terms of sweat, light,washing, dry and wet rubbing color fastness and the results were analyzedstatistically.Moreover, the break strength and break elongation (%) of the fabrics dyed by themethods of HT-Acidic and HT-Alkali were compared at the end of the dyeing testsand the results were analyzed statistically.KEY WORDS: Carrier, Disperse Dyestuff, HT, Polyester, Thermosol | en_US |
