Amaç: Çalışmamızın amacı hastanemiz endoskopi biriminde peptik ülser ve gastrit tanısı almış hastalardaki Helicobacter Pylori sıklığını tespit etmek.Gereç ve Yöntem: Aralık 2014- Nisan 2016 tarihleri arasında üst gastrointestinal sistem endoskopisi yapılan hastalar geriye dönük tarandı. 150 'si gastrit 150'si ülser tanılı 300 hasta patoloji raporlarıyla değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 44,1±11,9 yıldı. Cinsiyet dağılımı 157 (%52,3) kadın; 143 (%47,7) erkek şeklindeydi . 80 hastada (%26,7) H.pylori negatifti. Endoskopik tanısı gastrit olan hastalarda %61.3 , mide ülserinde %74.3, duodenal ülserde %96.1 bulundu. 44 (%14.7) hastada intestinal metaplazi pozitifti.
Purpose of this research is to determine the prevalance of H.pylori among the patients who has diagnosed with peptic ulcer and gastritis in our hospital's endoscopy unit. MATERIALS AND METHODSPatients who has been undergone an uppergastrointestinal sistem endoscopy between the dates december 2014 - april 2016 screened retrospectively 300 patients , 150 of them with gastritis and another 150 of them with peptic ulcer has been evalueted with their pathology reports.RESULTSMedian age was 44,1±11,9 years. While 157 of the patient (%52.3) were female the other 143 (%47.7) were male. 80 patiets (%26.7) were h.pylori negative. In the others who were positive the prevalance was %61.3 in patients with endocopically diagnosed with gastritis, %74.3 in stomach ulcer and %96.1 in duodenal ulcer.Intestinal metaplasia was positive in 44 patients (%14.7) there was no correlation found in positivity with age , sex and itestinal metaplasia. It was found that, positivity was in early stages with gastritis patients, while it was middle or late stages in ulcer patients. Intestinal metaplasia was higher in patients who were younger than 40 , compered to older participants.CONCLUSİONH.pylori still has an important role of the etiology of peptic ulcer and gastritis. Age, sex and intestinal metaplasia can not be found relevant.en_US
