dc.description.abstract59 SUMMARY We examined the prevalence of HBs-Ag, Anti-HBc total, Anti- HCV and ALT levels of serum in 150 healthy blood donor who applied to our blood bank. The positivity rates of HBsAg, Anti-HBc total and Anti-HCV respectively 4%, 26% and 1.3% were obtained. In the 7% of donors ALT level increased. The high level positivity of Anti-HBc, as well as 26%, made us to think the prevalence of HBV infection is high. Thus Anti-HBc test could not be used as a screening test. As we found an increase in serum ALT level as 7%.These blood in ALT level had a pozitif ity of 11.1% for Anti-HCV. As a result it is better to test the donor blood for ALT level.en_US
