dc.description.abstractAmaç: Gürültüye bağlı işitme kayıplı bireylerde gürültünün vestibüler sistem üzerinde etkisinin olup olmadığını araştırmaktır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Gürültüye bağlı işitme kayıplı 34 birey (18-65) yatak başı muayene yöntemleri, vestibüler uyarılmış miyojenik potansiyel (VEMP), video head impulse test (vHIT), videonistagmografi (VNG) testleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. İstatistiksel analiz için Bağımsız Student's T testi, Mann Whitney U testi, korelasyon analizi, Youden İndeksi kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Çalışmamızda değerlendirilen 68 kulaktan elde edilen sonuçlar aşağıda verilmiştir:cVEMP: P1 latans ortalaması 16,46 msn; N1 latans ortalaması 24,52 msn.oVEMP: N1 latans ortalaması 15,57 msn; P1 latans ortalaması 20,74 msn.vHIT: Lateral kanal kazanç ortalaması sol kulakta 0,98; sağ kulakta 0,98 ve kanallar arası asimetri 3,1 olarak bulunmuştur. RALP kazanç ortalaması sol kulakta 0,98; sağ kulakta 1,05 ve kazanç asimetrisi 6,8'dir. LARP kazanç ortalaması sol kulakta 1,2; sağ kulakta 1,1 ve kazanç asimetrisi 6,8 olarak bulunmuştur.Kalorik: Altı bireyde kalorik yanıt elde edilememiştir.Sonuç: Gürültü iç kulağın yanı sıra vestibüler sistemi de etkilemektedir.
dc.description.abstractObjective: Purpose of the study is to investigate whether the vestibular system is affected in patients with the noise-induced hearing loss.Materials- Methods: 34 patients (18 - 60 years) with noise-induced hearing loss were evaluated with vestibular evoked myogenic potential test, video head impulse test, all videonystagmography tests. Independent Student 's T-test, Mann Whitney U test, correlation analysis, Youden ındex was used for statistical analysis.Results: The results of this study, in which 68 ears are evaluated, are as follows: cVEMP: The mean P1 latency was 16,46 ms and the mean N1 latency was 24,52 ms.oVEMP: The mean N1 latency was 15.57 ms and the mean P1 latency was 20,74 ms.VHIT: Mean lateral gain was 0.98 on the left and 0.98 on the right and mean asymmetry between the two sides was 3.1. The RALP vHIT gain average is 0.98 on the left, 1.05 on the right, and the average asymmetry between the two sides was 6.8. The LARP vHIT gain average was 1.2 on the left, 1.1 on the right, and the average asymmetry between the two sides was 6,8.Caloric test: Caloric areflexia was observed in 6 individuals.Conclusion: Chronic noise exposure affects the vestibular system as well as to the inner ear.en_US
