Tuncer Baykara`nın hayatı, eserleri, şahsiyeti ve fikirlerine dair bir araştırma

Abstract

ABSTRAK On the 7 th July of 1940 Baykara was born in Acıpayam district Denizli city. His father (Asım) is a primary school teacher. His mother (Ayşe) is a housewife. Baykara finished primary school in Yatağan, Mid- school in Niğde, Acıpayam and Urla and high-school in Izmir. He began to chemical engineering in Istanbul University but has left this section and studied literature (History) in 1959. As an assistant went to Atatürk University in 1967, and has gone to Erzurum in 1971 by finishing his thesis. In 1972 has done compulsory military sercive as an artillery lientenant. After being an assistant in (Hacettepe University) became an associate professor in 1987. He works as a director at (college of literature) historic, manager of central historic research and Superimposing Atatürk Principles and a founding member of Turkish history foundation and research institute (culture-universe) of Turkish. Also member of exculive committee in Izmir central researchs. He was representated college of literature at senate between (1988-1991). He knows French, English, Persian and Russian, and participated many congresses in Belgium, Germany, Russia... etc. He has got two children their name's Asım Alp and Ayşe Bike. His wife's name is Şenay Kadriye. He wrote about 200 essays and fifteen books.
