Beşinci bölüm, Antalya'nın eski kesiminin; Kaleiçi'nin tarihi ve genel yerleşim özelliklerini içermektedir.- IV - Altıncı bölümde, Kaleiçi'nin bugünkü durumu verilmektedir. Yedinci bölümde, seçilen yapı türünün; seçilen işlev doğrultusunda kullanım olanak ve seçenekleri incelenmekte ve öneriler yer almaktadır. EMRE MADRAN AUGUST; 1988, Zh/ pages The present thesis is a study of a certain plan type peculiar to Antalya for its utilizing possibilities and alternatives in terms of its transformation into lodging units. The first chapter covers introduction and the aim of the study. The second chapter deals with the possibilities and the transformation alternatives of an urban site. The third chapter provides information on one of the alternatives, i.e. touristic function. The fourth chapter outlines the study area, i.e. Antalya, from the standpoint of its problems, potentialities and alternatives. The fifth chapter provides information on the.historical background and the general settlement characteristics of the old section (Kaleiçi) of Antalya.- II - The sixth chapter describes the present state of Kaleiçi. The seventh chapter searches for the utilizing possibilities and alternatives of the selected building type due to the selected function and contains proposals.
