dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, Bolvadin ilçesi merkez ilköğretim okullarındaki 7. sınıfa giden öğrencilerin yazılı kompozisyonlarında kullandıkları sözcük türlerini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sözcük türlerini öğrenmeleri üzerinde cinsiyet, sözel akademik benlik düzeyi, Türkçe dersi başarı durumu, sosyo-ekonomik durum ile anne-baba eğitim durumu gibi faktörlerin etkili olup olmadığı da dikkate alınmıştır.Çalışmanın evrenini, Afyonkarahisar ilinin Bolvadin ilçesindeki ilköğretim okulları oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem olarak da Atatürk İlköğretim Okulu, Gazi İlköğretim Okulu ve Fatih Sultan Mehmet İlköğretim Okulu belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen üç okulun 7. sınıflarında öğrenim gören toplam 134 öğrenciye, öncelikle Y. KUZGUN tarafından geliştirilen `Sözel Akademik Benlik Ölçeği` ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen `İlköğretim Öğrencilerinin Okuma Alışkanlığı ile Ailelerinin Eğitim ve Sosyo-Ekonomik Durumları Anketi` uygulanmıştır. Daha sonra öğrencilere serbest konulu kompozisyonlar yazdırılmış; kompozisyonların araştırmacı ve sınıf öğretmeni kontrolü altında yazılmasına, ayrıca bir sayfayı geçmemesine dikkat edilmiştir. Kompozisyonlar bir araya getirildikten sonra sözcükler sırayla ayrılmış, tek tek fişlenmiş ve sözcük türüne göre tasnif edilerek anketlerle birlikte bilgisayar ortamında, SPSS Paket Programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Bu analize, öğrencilerin Türkçe dersindeki başarı durumlarını gösteren karne notları da dâhil edilmiştir.Anahtar kelimeler: Sözcük türleri, cinsiyet, sözel akademik benlik düzeyi, Türkçe dersi başarı durumu, sosyo-ekonomik durum, anne-baba eğitim durumu
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to examine whether 7th grade students at central primary schools located in Bolvadin Distrcit are able to comprehend and produce word classes in Turkish appropriately. It has also been intended to scrutinize the effect of gender, verbal academic self level, performance in the Turkish class, socio-economic situation and parents? education background on learning of word classes.The universe of the study are composed of primary schools in Boldavin Distrcit, Afyonkarahisar. The sampling is made up of three schools, Atatürk Primary School, Gazi Primary School and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Primary School. The participants of the study were 134 7 th grade students who were given ?Verbal Academic Self Scale developed by Y. KUZGUN? and Survey of Reading Habits of Primary School Students and Educational and Socio-Economic Background of families designed by the researcher were applied.The participants were asked to write about free topics which would not be more than only one page. During writing, the researcher and the class teachers observed the participants. After all writings were brought together, words were extracted from the writings and then were written on word cards and classified in accordance with word classes in Turkish. All data regarding word classes were computerized and were analyzed through SPSS program.
