dc.description.abstractSunulan bu çalışmada; polidopamin (PDA) nano kaplama yönteminin, monolitik kriyojellerin yüzey modifikasyonunda kullanılabilirliği ilk defa incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, poli(2-hidroksietil metakrilat), PHEMA, esaslı monolitik kriyojel diskleri, sulu ortamda gerçekleştirilen basit bir yüzey modifikasyon işlemine tabi tutulmuş ve elde edilen malzemenin (PHEMA-PDA) adsorban özellikleri incelenmiştir. Hazırlanan diskler FTIR spektroskopisi, pH pzc ölçümleri ve su tutma kapasitesi gibi tekniklerle karakterize edilmiştir. Elde edilen bu yeni materyalin kristal viyole (CV) ve nikel(II) türlerine karşı sergilediği adsorban özellikleri kesikli yöntemle elde edilen adsorpsiyon verileri temelinde incelenmiştir. Denge adsorpsiyon verileri, Langmuir, Freundlich ve Temkin izoterm modelleri ile analiz edilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractIn the present study, applicability of the `polydopamine (PDA)-dip coating` process insurface-modification of monolithic cryogels was studied for the first time. In the study, the monolithic cryogel disks of poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate), PHEMA, were subjected to a facile surface modification process performed in aqueous media and the adsorbent properties of the obtained material, PHEMA-PDA, were investigated. The prepared disks were characterized by various techniques like FTIR spectroscopy, pHpzc measurements, and water-holding capacity. The adsorbent properties of this newly-obtained material toward crystal violet (CV) and nickel(II) were studied on the basis ofadsorption data derived from a batch method. Equilibrium adsorption data were analyzed with respect to the Langmuir, the Freundlich, and the Temkin isotherm models.en_US
