Johannes Jacob Manissadjian`ın `Mürşid-i Misan-ı Osmanî`sinin çeviri yazısı ve Türkçe dizini

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Manisa Celal Bayar Üniversitesi'nin Sosyal BilimlerEnstitüsü'nde Yüksek Lisans Tezi olarak hazırlanmıştır. Çalışma, JohannesJacob Manissadjian'nın 1893'te yazdığı `Mürşid-i Lisan-ı Osmanî` adlıeserindeki Osmanlı Türkçesiyle verilmiş örneklerin çeviri yazısı ve Türkçedizinidir. Araştırmamız esas olarak üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümdeyazarın hayatı, eserin detaylı olarak tanıtımı yer almaktadır. İkinci bölümdeeserin inceleme başlığı altında alıştırmalar ve hikayelerden oluşan örneklerinçeviri yazısı, dizin ve sonuç kısmına yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise eserinsonuna özgün metin eklenmiştir. Eserin yazılma yöntemi Batılı gramer kuralları örnek alınarakoluşturulmuştur. Amaç, Türkçe öğrenmek isteyenlere en pratik şekilde bu diliöğretmek olduğu için basitten zora doğru gelişen bir yöntem kullanılmıştır.Eserde geçen metinler okuyucunun anlayabileceği tarzda alıştırma vehikâyelerle desteklenmiştir. Alfabe sistemi ve dil bilgisi, çeviri yöntemininözelliklerine uygun olarak yazılmış bir ders kitabı niteliğindedir. Terimler hemAlmanca hem de Türkçe ile gösterilmiştir. Eser hakkında bugüne kadar detaylı bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Eserde,Osmanlıca bölümlerinin çeviri yazısı yeniden yapılarak Mürşid-i Lisan-ı Osmanîtanıtılmış, dizini hazırlanarak değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Johannes Jacob Manissadjian, Manissadjian, Mürşid-iLisan-ı Osmanî, Gramer Kitabı, Dizin, Sözlük

This study was prepared as a Master's Thesis at Institute of SocialSciences at Celal Bayar University. This study is a transliteration and Turkishindex of the book named This study has three parts. The first part involves the writer's life and thedetailed introduction of the book. The second part involves the transliteration,exercises, stories, index and the conclusion part under the title of the book'sinvestigation. The third part involves a genuine text added to the end of the book.As there is not detailed information about the writer, the information presentedis limited to our present study and findings. Although Johannes Jacob Manissadjian is actually a botanist, he usedOttoman Turkish grammar. His writing such a book beyond his field makes thebook striking among the reference books. The texts in the book areunderstandable for the readers being supported either with exercises or stories.Additionally, the book was supported with reading texts, exercises anddictionary which helped teaching Turkish to be more effective.For the above mentioned reasons, this study is among the resources to referhaving the quality of being a source to the existing studies and enlighteningTurkish learners. In this study, the book named Mürşid-i Lisan-ı Osmanî'' wasintroduced taking these characteristics into consideration, the index wasprepared by making transliteration of the parts in Ottoman language andevaluations were carried out.Key Words: Johannes Jacob Manissadjian, Manissadjian, Mürşid-i Lisan-ıOsmanî, Grammar Book, Index, Dictionary
