Amaç: Savaş yaraları olağan koşullarda meydana gelen yaralanmalardan farklıdır. Geniş doku hasarı ve kontaminasyon olması, her gün görülen travma pratiğinden farklılık arzeder. Türkiye'nin güney komşusu Suriye'de üç yıldan fazla süregelen bir iç savaş yaşanmaktadır. Binlerce sivil ve sınırda kaçarken vurulan muhalifler Türkiye'ye sığınmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Suriye'den kaçan yaralı mültecilere Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi Plastik Rekonstrüktif ve Estetik Cerrahi Anabilim Dalında tedavi edilen hastaları değerlendirmeyi amaçladık.
Objective: The war wounds are different from the injuries occurring in ordinary circumstances. Extensive tissue damage and contamination differ from common practice of trauma. There has been an ongoing civil war over three years in Syria, Turkey's southern neighbour. Thousands of civilians and dissidents who got shot while fleeing at the border have fled to Turkey. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the injured refugees fleeing from Syria and the patients who were treated at Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Mustafa Kemal University.en_US
