Ortak bilgi yapılandırma modeline dayalı fen öğretiminin 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin bilişsel, duyuşsal ve devinişsel öğrenmelerine etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortak bilgi yapılandırma modeline (OBYM) dayalı fen öğretiminin 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin bilişsel, duyuşsal ve devinişsel öğrenmeleri üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı iki devlet okulunun 7. sınıflarında öğrenim gören toplam 29 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel veriler, `Bilimsel Sorgulama Becerileri Testi`, `Devinişsel Beceriler Rubriği`, `Kuvvet ve Enerji Ünitesi Kavramsal Anlama Testi`, `Bilimsel Bilgiye Yönelik Görüş Ölçeği` ve `Fen'e Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği` ile toplanmıştır. Nitel veriler ise, sınıf içi video kayıtları, fenomenografik kategoriler ve yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırma süresince elde edilen nicel verilerin analizleri istatistik paket programı ile nitel verilerin analizi ise içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; OBYM'ye dayalı fen öğretiminin öğrencilerin kavramsal anlamalarını, bilimsel sorgulama becerilerini, bilimsel bilgiye yönelik görüşlerini, fene yönelik tutumlarını ve devinişsel becerilerini olumlu yönde geliştirmede etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında OBYM'ye dayalı olarak geliştirilen öğrenci materyallerinin, öğretim sürecinde öğretmenler tarafından sözü edilen özelliklerin geliştirilmesinde kullanılması önerilebilir.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the science teaching based on the Common Knowledge Construction Model (CKCM) on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning of 7th grade students. In this study, mixed method was used. The study group of the research, consisted of 29 students studying in 7th grade of two public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the 2018-2019 academic year. The quantitative data in the research, were collected with `Scientific Inquiry Skills Test`, `Psychomotor Skills Rubric`, `Force and Energy Unit Conceptual Understanding Test`, `Views Towards Scientific Knowledge Scale` and `Attitude Towards Science Scale`. Qualitative data were obtained by class video recordings, phenomenological categories and semi-structured interview form. The analysis of the quantitative data obtained during the research was conducted by using the statistical package program and the analysis of the qualitative data was carried out by using the content analysis method. As a result of the research; it was found that science teaching based on CKCM was effective in positively improving students' conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry skills, views towards knowledge scientific, attitudes towards science and their psychomotor skills. It can be suggested that student materials developed based on CKCM in the scope of the research, can be used in developing the mentioned features by teachers in the teaching process.
