Kuzuların sıcak koşullarda yem tercihlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Kuzuların sıcak koşulların hakim olduğu yaz aylarında tercihli yemleme yapılarak canlı ağırlık artışları, rektal sıcaklıkları, solunum ve çiğneme sayılarının belirlenmesi amacıyla yürütülen bu çalışmada 30 günlük deneme sürecinde, iklimsel veriler, yem alım sıraları, hayvanların yem tercihleri ve rumen pH'ları değerlendirilmiştir. Deneme süresi 10'ar günlük 3 bölüm halinde değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada 5 hayvan kullanılmış, hayvanlara kaba yem olarak yonca kuru otu ve saman, yoğun yem olarak da soya küspesi, pamuk tohumu küspesi, arpa, mısır, kepek ve fermente zeytin küspesi olmak üzere toplam 8 yem tercihi sunulmuştur.Kuzuların günlük ortalama canlı ağırlık artışı sırasıyla 258.5, 224.1, 216.6, 271.3, 194.5 gram bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda kuzularda ortalama rektal sıcaklık değerleri saat 09.00, 14.00 ve 16.00'da sırasıyla 39.12±0.23 °C, 39.34±0.23 °C, 39.34±0.25 °C bulunmuştur. Solunum sayısı ortalama değerleri saat 09.00, 14.00 ve 16.00'da sırasıyla 64.87±13.21 adet/dakika, 79.59±16.45 adet/dakika, 85.19±17.96 adet/dakika bulunmuştur. Çiğneme sayısı ortalama değerleri saat 09.00, 14.00 ve 16.00'da sırasıyla 73.45±12.46 sayısı/dak, 66.89±10.78 sayısı/dak , 69.47±14.28 sayısı/dak bulunmuştur. Rektal sıcaklık, solunum ve çiğneme sayılarında sabah öğle akşam incelendiğinde önemli bir fark bulunmamıştır. Ancak, THI, üç 10 günlük periyotlarda rektal sıcaklıkları, solunum hızlarını ve çiğneme aktivitesini etkiledi (P <0,01).THI değeri ortalama değeri 75.1 çıkmış ve kuzular deneme süresince sıcaklık stresinde kabul edilmiştir. Hayvanlar en çok yüksek proteinli soya küspesini tercih etmiştir. Kuzuların yem tercihleri sırasıyla soya, arpa, mısır, kepek, yonca, zeytin küspesi, saman olarak bulunmuştur. Sabah ve akşam yemlemesinde tercihlerinde önemli bir farklılık bulunmamıştır.

In this study, live weight increases, rectal temperature, respiration and ruminance numbers, climatic data values, feed in take order, animal feed preference parameters and rumen pH values of lambs fed by free feeding under high temperature were in vestigated during the experiment (30 days). The observation period was evaluated in 3 sections of 10 days each. In this study, 5 wether used and alfalfa hay and wheat straw presented as two forage sources, soybean meal, cotton seed meal, barley, corn, bran and fermented olive cake presented as six concentrate feeds. A total of 8 feed preferences were presented to the animals.The average daily weight gain of lambs were 258.5, 224.1, 216.6, 271.3, 194.5 grams, respectively. As a result of the research, the average rectal temperature values of lambs at 09.00, 14.00 and 16.00 were 39.12±0.23 ° C, 39.34±0.23 ° C, 39.34±0.25 ° C, respectively. The mean values of respiratory rate were found to be 64.87±13.21, 79.59±16.45, 85.19±17.96 times/min at 09.00, 14.00 and 16.00, respectively. The mean number of chewing was found to be 73.45±12.46, 66.89±10.78, 69.47±14.28 times/min at 09.00, 14.00 and 16.00 respectively. No significant difference was found in rectal temperature, respiration rates and chewing in the morning and evening. However, THI influenced rectal temperatures, respiration rates, and chewing activity over three 10-day periods (P <0.01).THI value was 75.1 and lambs were accepted in the heat stress during the experiment. The feed preferences of the lambs were found as soybean meal, barley, corn, bran, alfafa, olive cake and straw respectively. The animals firstly preferred the soybean meal which contain highest protein and there was no significant difference in their preferences in morning and evening feeding.
