Moritz Geiger`de Estetik Yargı Sorunu

Abstract

Sanatta `estetik yargı`nın nesnelliği-öznelliği tartışması Antikçağ'dan bugüne, henüz üzerinde kesin olarak uzlaşılamamış bir sorun olmaya devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle bu soruna ilişkin, `sanat`, `estetik` ve `güzel` gibi ana kavramlar ile bu kavramlardan hareketle oluşturulan kimi sanat kuramları üzerinde durulacaktır. Bunun ardından söz konusu kuramların `estetik yargı` kavramını nasıl ele aldıkları ortaya konacaktır. Felsefe tarihinden Platon, Aristoteles ve Kant gibi kimi filozofların estetik yargı sorununa ilişkin görüşlerine kısaca değinildikten sonra, günümüz estetikçilerinden Moritz Geiger'in estetik yargıların nesnelliği-öznelliği sorununa ilişkin söyledikleri üzerinde durulacak ve Geiger'in görüşlerinin ne derece Platon, Aristoteles ve Kant'ın görüşleriyle benzerlik taşıdığı ortaya konacaktır. Ayrıca bu görüşlerde `güzel` kavramına, dolayısıyla `estetik yargı`nın nesnelliği- öznelliğine ilişkin söylenenler üzerinde durulacaktır. Bu bağlamda özellikle M. Geiger'in görüşlerinin temelinde yatan `fenomenolojik estetik` ve onun estetik yargılara ilişkin görüşleri ele alınacaktır. Son olarak, estetik yargının nesnelliği ya da öznelliği sorununa Moritz Geiger'in görüşleriyle, diğer sanat kuramlarının bu görüşe ilişkin değerlendirmeleri irdelenecektir.

The discussion on the objectivity (or subjectivity) of an aesthetic judgment in the works of art has been an everlasting and unsolved problem since Antiquity. In this study, after tackling the basic concepts of philosophy of art as art, aesthetics or beautiful, I will analyze some theories of art going from the main concepts of art. And then, the relation of these concepts to the problem of `aesthetic judgments` will be clarified. In particular, in this context, in addition to the philosophers' views in the history of philosophy, Moritz Geiger, which is mentioned among contemporary aesthetists, presents similar and different aspects of both concepts and the connection of what he expresses in his theory to the theories of art of thinkers such as Plato, Aristotle and Kant. In revealing these similarities and differences, it will be contributed to the discussion of whether the concept of `beauty` in relation to the creators of art and aesthetics can be talked about the objectivity or subjectivity of `aesthetic judgment`. How Moritz Geiger's answer to the question of objectivity or subjectivity of aesthetic judiciary has been accepted in the history of art since ancient times and its effect on the emergence of art theories will be examined. In this context, especially what is `phenomenological aesthetics` and its effect on aesthetic judgment will be discussed.
