Denizli ili yeraltı su seviyelerinin ölçülmesi ve coğrafi bilgi sistemleri ile haritalanması

Abstract

Hızla tükenen temiz yeraltı su kaynakları, geleceğin en büyük savaş sebebi olma noktasında ilerlemektedir. Ülkeler yeraltı suyunu yitirdikçe, önemini daha iyi anlamaktadır. Bu nedenle yeraltı su seviyelerinin sürekli olarak ölçülmesi ve kontrol altında tutulması gerekmektedir. Yaşamakta olduğumuz güzel şehrimiz Denizli ilinin tamamını kapsayan bir yeraltı su seviyesini belirleme çalışması henüz yapılmamıştır ve bu çalışmada bu alandaki boşluğu doldurmak amaçlanmıştır. Aynı zamanda bundan sonraki yapılacak çalışmalar için bir veri tabanı oluşturulması hedeflenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler kullanılarak, Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri (CBS) ile Denizli yeraltı su seviyelerini gösteren bir harita oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen harita, yeraltı su seviyelerindeki bölgesel farklılıkların kolayca gözlemlenmesini sağlayacaktır. Bununla birlikte bu harita, Denizli ili sınırları içerisinde açılacak yeni bir kuyunun hangi noktada açılması konusunda, ekonomi, zaman ve konum açısından katkı sağlayacaktır. Çalışma iki aşamadan oluşmuş olup ilk aşamada, Denizli ili sınırları içerisinde bulunan arazi üzerinde derin kuyuların statik su seviyeleri, düdüklü metre ile ölçülmüştür. Bu aşamada gerekli araçlar ve izinler, çalışmakta olduğum Denizli Su ve Kanalizasyon İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü'nden alınmış olup, Pamukkale Üniversitesi Bilimsel Araştırma Projeleri Koordinasyon Birimi'nden de destek alınmıştır. Sonraki aşamada kısa zamanda elde edilen su seviye verileri, coğrafi bilgi sistemine aktarılmıştır. Bu safhada veriler, dijital ortama aktarılmış ve yeraltı su seviye haritası oluşturulmuştur.

Rapidly diminishing ground water sources, might be the biggest reason of war in the future. While the countries continue losing the ground water, its importance is better understood. Therefore we need to keep observing and controlling the ground water level continuously. There is no study on the ground water level for all area of our beatiful city Denizli that we live in and this study aims to fill the gap in this area. At the same time, another purpose was to form a database for future studies. By using the obtained data, the groundwater map is generated for Denizli by Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyses. The obtained map will enable easy monitoring of regional differences in ground water levels. On the other hand, this map results, will help on finding new point for well in the way of economy, time and local point where to drill a new well within the border of Denizli city. The study consist of two stages, the first stage, explain the static water levels in deep drilling wells within the provincial border of Denizli were measured by using a whistle meter gauge. At this stage, permits and equipment supports were provided by Denizli Water and Waste Water Direction General Management (DESKİ) (where I am currently working) and the study supported by Pamukkale University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Department. In the next stage, the measured ground water level data were transferred to the Geographic Information System. In this phase, the inputs have been transmitted to digital media and the ground water level map was created.
