Abstract

Pm MARMARA ÜNİVERSITESİ r ^ FEN BİLİMLERİ ENSTİTÜSÜ - III - ABSTRACT Ready wear is one of the leading and rapidly develop ing sectors in thelTurkish textile industry. Its producti on capacity has exceeded home consumption and still incre asing at a high rate to meet foreign demand. In the industry, only few goes through vocational training before employment. Consequently, a great majority learns the profession by experience or trial and error. Since foreign demand seems to be the main promotor of the industry, Turkey's ma jor- objective should be reach ing the required quality level. The aim is minimal fault and returned orders in other words, maximum quality. The means, to achieve this aim would be to educate and, train workers through vorational `college (institutions) So that graduates of these institutions take jobs in the industry as qualified labors. It is belived that this work, which investigates the influence of labor on various machine groups and attempts to quantitatively express the influance rate, will provide some insight to thouse who are interested.
