T In this research, it was decided to examine and find out the most optimum working systems applied to machines used for pretreatment of fabrics. During this research, the apparatus was examined in its functional point and the pro cesses were analysed. The convenient economical working conditions were also examined. In representing the analysis, besides basic theoric informations, the results and experiences which are appli cable to normal processes were tried to be given. The examinations were carried out in completely syste matic schedule. While rearching the main items, the system economy and saving factors were mentioned in a global manner., The whole work can be summerized as follows; So far, the aim of the pretreatment processes was to prepare the fabric for the following operations such as dyeing, printing, etc. in the best manner. Thus, the main purpose was to get semi-treated or completely treated fabric. However, today the main purpose is, while taking account the processes applied previously or after the main ' process, to prepare optimum fabric by using minimum time, the chemical substances, water, energy, process equipment and labor. Thus, the maximum saving is the top purpose. To all the textile searchers in this field in the future... Necmi SARIYER İSTANBUL - 1988en_US
