dc.description.abstractÖZET Mart 1998- Ekim 1998 tarihleri arasında, değişik yaş gruplarından 457 ishalli kişinin dışkıları Crytosporidium parvum ve diğer gastrointestinal patojenler açısından incelendi. Crytosporidium'un varlığı Kinyoun'un aside dirençli boyama yöntemi ile araştırıldı. Bakterilerin izolasyon ve tanımı standart metodlar, API 20 NE ve API CAMPY sistemleri kullanılarak yapıldı. Barsak parazitleri nativ-lugol yöntemi ile incelendi. Crytosporidium hiçbir hastada saptanmadı. İshalli hastalardan 30 (%6.3) patojen bakteri izole edildi. İzole edilen bakteriler Shigella sonnei 14 (%3.6), Shigella flexneri 5 (%1.09), Aeromonas sobria 3 (%0.65), Campylobacter jejuni 3 (%0.65), Aeromonas hydrophila 2 (%4.3), Salmonella paratyhi A 1 (%0.21), Salmonella paratypi B 1 (%0.21), E.coli o 157: H7 1 (%0.21) kişide saptandı. 47 (%10.2) hastada barsak paraziti saptandı. Entamoeba histolytica 23 kişide (%5.03), Giardia intestinaUs 14 kişide (%3.06), Trichomonas hominis 4 kişide (%0.87), Enterobius vermicularis 3 kişide (%0.65), Chilimastix mesnili 2 kişide (%0.43), Hymenolepis nana 1 kişide (%0.21) tespit edildi. 45
Y Bectween March 1998 and October 1998, the stools from 457 patients with diarrhea of different age groups were investigated in terms of Crjtosporidium parvum and other gastrointestinal pathogenes. The presence of Crytosporidium was investiged with Kinyoun's acid-fast stains. Bacteria were isolated and identified according to standart method and API 20 NE and API CAMPY systems. The stool samples were examined for intestinal parasites by using saline-lugol technique. Crytosporidium wasn't found in any patients. Pathogen bacteria were isolated from 30 (6.3 %) of patiets with diarrhea, among which Shigella sonnei were isolated in 14 cases (3.6 %), Shigella flexneri in 5 cases (1.09 %), Aeromonas sobria in 3 cases (0.65 %), Campylobacter jejuni in 3 cases (0.65 %), Aeromonas hydrophila in 2 cases (0.21 %), Salmonella paratyphi A 1 case (0.21 %), Salmonella paratyphi B 1 case (0.21 %) and E.coli 0157:H7 in 1 case, intestinal parasites were found from 47 (10.2 %) of patients, among which Entamoeba histolytica were found in 23 cases (25.03 %), Giardia intestinalis in 14 cases (3.6 %), Trichomonas hominis in 4 cases ( 0.87 %). Enterobius vermicularis in 3 cases (0.65 %), Chilomastix mesnili 2 cases (0.43 %)JHvmenolepis nana 1 cases (0.21 %). 46en_US
