dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, 2-fenilbenzimidazol (L) taşıyıcı-ligandlarını taşıyan ve kapalı formülleri [PtL2Cl2], [PtL2I2], [PtL2oksalat] ve [PtL2malonat] olan dört adet Pt(II) kompleksi sentezlendi (Kompleks 1-4).[PtL2Cl2] ve [PtL2I2] kompleksleri, taşıyıcı-ligand ile sırasıyla potasyumtetrakloroplatinat ve potasyumtetraiyodoplatinatın etanol-su içindeki reaksiyonları ile sentezlendi. [PtL2oksalat] ve [PtL2malonat] kompleksleri, [PtL2Cl2] ile sırasıyla digümüşoksalat ve digümüşmalonatın su içindeki reaksiyonları ile sentezlendi.Sentezlenen Kompleks 1-4'ün kimyasal yapıları, elementel analiz verileri İnfrared (IR) ve 1H Nükleer Magnetik Rezonans (1H-NMR) spektrumları ile belirlendi.Kompleks 1-4'ün in vitro antibakteriyel ve antifungal aktiviteleri, gram (+) Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus substilis, Enterococcus faecalis ve gram(-) Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherchia coli ve Klebsiella pneumonia bakterilerine ve maya benzeri funguslar Candida glabrata ve Candida parapsilosis karşı ?Makrodilüsyon Broth Yöntemi? kullanılarak test edildi. Antibakteriyel ve antifungal aktivite çalışmalarında standart madde olarak sırası ile ampisilin trihidrat ve flukonazol nitrat kullanıldı.Genel olarak, sentez edilen komplekslerden Kompleks 1-3 antifungal aktivite testinde flukonazol nitrat ile kıyaslanabilir düzeyde aktivite gösterdi.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, four Pt(II) complexes with the structures [PtL2Cl2], [PtL2I2], [PtL2oxalato] and [PtL2malonato] bearing 2-phenylbenzimidazoles as carrier-ligands were synthesized (Complex 1-4).[PtL2Cl2] and [PtL2I2] complexes were synthesized by the reaction of the carrier-ligand with potassium tetrachloroplatinate and potassium tetraiodoplatinate respectively in ethanol-water. [PtL2oxalato] and [PtL2malonato] complexes were synthesized by the reaction of [PtL2Cl2] with disilveroxalato and disilvermalonato respectively in water.The chemical structures of the synthesized Complex 1-4 were characterized by their elemental analysis, IR and 1H-NMR spectra.In vitro antibacterial and antifungal activities of Complex 1-4 were tested against gram(+) Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus substilis and Enterococcus faecalis; gram(-) Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherchia coli and Klebsiella pneumonia bacteria and yeast like fungus Candida glabrata and Candida parapsilosis using ?Macrodilution Broth Method?. Ampicilline trihydrate and fluconazole nitrate were used as standarts for antibacterial and antifungal activity studies respectively.In general, among the complexes synthesized Complexes 1-3 exhibited antifungal activity comparable with fluconazole nitrateen_US
