dc.description.abstract | SUMMARY Against the endlessnes of universe, the general theme of `Chairs` which emphasizes the anxiety of being limited of livings, more important the human beings, is the nulity of life, and living in vain. With respect to the emphasize of the writer about this theme, anxieties did nightmares of the characters of the play, ore procured. Sense of love, humanity, friendship and confidence which appear in the essence of persons of play were become visible. The play was directed to the main idea that says, if men could reach the real love and beauty which exist in them, they wauld be able to make life more pleasant and they would be able to be more courageous for dying. The balance which takes place between the comic that was caught by the intuition of absurdty and the tragic effects in the fight of contrasts, was represented by handling the mfluentual and interesting elements of play's content. What is seen as imaginary and exageration, is indeed the attitude they have for their inner, their relations between them, their adventages, their hungriness. The reality was shown up not in the way it must be but in the way it is. That's why we have started by the interest of the play and we got into the area of semiotic in order to solve it. It was thought that, this kind of work of art which doesn't have a strict pean of action and characters can be solved only by the method of semiotic. The play was searched by the point of vieuw of semiotic, by our method. The text was put into smallest pieces and these pieces were examined with all details. The play which was divided into phonems and which was far from being recognised, was rebuilt by a differentpoint of view. It was come into being in a new form. Every point had the connection with each others and with the harmony they formed their melody in our minds. It's understood that the volume of the play depends on facts rather than on characters. And so it's proved thet the semiotic is a secure way to create the estetic to perform. The semiotic effected in completing the play by the structure and the content. When the play was searched by the points as action, attitude, feeling, space, theme we had the dimensions of an abstract form. Relations between light, effect, replic and the comment of mise en seçene are in the regie notebook. Besides we want to state that it's a method which requires also attention, tme, labour, patience. This work that we want to perform will be experienced and it will find the target in time. | en_US |
