dc.description.abstract | This thesis consists of an introduction, 6 sections and a conclusion and covers the influence and roles of the Turkish tribes and their members during the Safavid period of Iran till the end of the reign of Shah Tahmasp (till 1576). The resources used are mainly in Persian but also in other languages such as Turkish (Turkey), Turkish (Azerbaijan), Russian, English and German.The parts of the thesis can be described as follows: The reasons for choosing this subject and the methods used are explained in the introduction part. The first section involves the chronological list of the resources that contain the eastern, western and modern researches on Safavid history.The second section briefly introduces the genealogy and the forefathers (back to seven generations earlier) before Safavi order and the explanation of the history of the pre-state period via the important figures of the period. After them it be given the history of Shah I Ismail I (1501-1524) and Shah Tahmasp I mainly.The third section is about the analyses of the descendants of the Safavids.The fourth section examines the problems on the area of the Safavid memberships of the religious sects.The fifth section studies the ?Kizilba§? subject from different angles (the emergence, political, religious and tribal unity).In the sixth section involve the different Turkish tribes and the biographies and the roles of the important figures of these.
