Mehmet Rauf`un tiyatro ile ilgili makaleleri ve tiyatro eserleri üzerinde bir araştırma

Abstract

ÖZETTanzimat'ın ilanıyla edebiyatımıza giren Batılı anlamdaki Tiyatro 23 Temmuz 1908 tarihinde ilan edilen meşrutiyet ile yeni bir döneme girmiştir. Mehmet Rauf Meşrutiyet'in ilanından sonra tiyatroya karşı artan meraka kayıtsız kalmamış, Türk tiyatrosunun gelişebilmesi için tiyatro üzerine 50 makale, 5'i telif, 10'u adapte olmak üzere 15 piyes kaleme almış, bunun yanı sıra yeni kurulan tiyatroların çeşitli kurullarında görevler üstlenmiştir.Servet-i Fünûn edebi topluluğunda yer alan Mehmet Rauf'un tiyatroları üzerine yapılan çalışmalarının aksine tiyatro makalelerinin yer aldığı müstakil çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışma ile Mehmet Rauf'un tiyatro üzerine yazdığı makaleler ile telif tiyatro eserleri bir arada incelenmiştir. Tanzimat'tan sonraki tiyatro hayatının gelişim süreçlerini rahatlıkla görebildiğimiz Mehmet Rauf'un makaleleri iki ana başlık altında ve kronolojik olarak ele alınmıştır. Genel tiyatro sanatı ile ilgili düşüncelerinin yer aldığı bölümMehmet Rauf'un, tiyatro edebiyatımızın gelişebilmesi için ele aldığı konulardan oluşmaktadır. Bunlar, Fransız tiyatrosunun gelişimini anlatan seri makalesi, tiyatronun kendisine has bir üslubu ve kuralları olduğuna değindiği makaleleri, bir tiyatro oyununun kabul edilmesinden sahneye konulacağı süre zarfına kadar geçireceği süreci tüm ayrıntıları ile aldığı tiyatro hayatı adlı seri makalesi, oyunculuk meselesi, adaptasyon meselesi ve tiyatro tarihimizde önemli bir yeri olan Darülbedayi meselesinin yer aldığı makalelerdir. Tiyatro eserleri ve sanatçıları hakkındaki düşüncelerinin yer aldığı bölümde Mehmet Rauf'un tiyatro hayatında önemli yeri olan oyunlar ve sanatçılar üzerine yazdığı makaleler ele alınmıştır.Mehmet Rauf'un telif eserleri ise konu, zaman, mekân, üslup açısından incelenmiştir.Bu çalışma ile romanları ve hikâyeleri ile tanıdığımız Mehmet Rauf'un tiyatro alanında yazdığı makaleler ve telif tiyatro eserleri ile `tiyatrocu` kimliği ortaya konulmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler; Mehmet Rauf, Tiyatro Eleştirisi, Telif/Adapte Oyunlar, Meşrutiyet Tiyatrosu, Tiyatro Kültürü, Darülbedayi, Muhsin Ertuğrul, immoralizm.

SUMMARYThe Theater in the Western sense, which entered the literature with the declaration of the Tanzimat, entered a new turn with the constitutional monarchy declared on July 23, 1908. Mehmet Rauf, after the proclamation of the constitutional monarchy, the increasing curiosity towards the theater has remained indifferent. In order to develop the Turkish theater, he wrote up 50 article, 15 piece; 5 of which were copyrighted, 10 of which were adapted on the theater, as well as undertaken on various boards of newly established theaters.Unlike Mehmet Rauf's work on the theater in the literary community of Servet-i Fünûn, there is no independent study in which the theater articles are included. In this study, the works written by Mehmet Rauf on the theater and the works of the copyrighted theater were examined together.The articles of Mehmet Rauf, which we can easily see the development process of the theater life after the Tanzimat, are handled chronologically and under two main headings.The section in which general theater arts thinks are consist of that; topics which was handled by Mehmet Rauf to develop our theater literature. These are the series of articles about the development of the French theater, articles that was mentioned has specific rules and wordings, a series of articles on the theater life that he will take to the stage during its acceptance and to theatrical play and all the details of the theater life, acting issue, adaptation issue, and the articles of the Darülbedayi issue which has an important place in our history.In the section about the theater works and writers' thoughts, Mehmet Rauf's articles on plays and artists, which are important places in the theater life, are discussed.The copyright works of Mehmet Rauf are studied in terms of subject, time, space and wording.With this study reveal his `thespian` identity with Mehmet Rauf's copyright works and theater works written in the field of theater, which we know about his novels and his stories.Key Words: Mehmet Rauf, Theater Criticism, Copyright/Adapted Plays, Constitutional Monarchy Theater, Theater Culture, Muhsin Ertuğrul, Darubedayi, Immoralism
