Tarihi yarımada bütününde Süleymaniye bölgesinin kentsel peyzaj açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

TARİHİ YARIMADA BÜTÜNÜNDE SÜLEYMANİYE BÖLGESİ'NİN KENTSEL PEYZAJ AÇISINDAN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ Hazırlayan: İ.OZAN GÖZEL Danışman: Prof. Dr. AYKUT KARAMAN ÖZET Bu çalışmada amaç; geleneksel yerleşimiyle, biçimlenmesindeki ilkeleri ile, algılanabilir bir kent imajına sahip Süleymaniye Bölgesi'nin biçimsel oluşumunun analizini yapmak, yerelliğini, kendine haslığını deşifre etmek, iç ve dış peyzajına dair görsel örnek ve incelemelerle giderek geleneksel mimarisine uymayan yapılaşmalarla kaybetme sürecine girdiği görsel değerlerini, pers pektiflerini belgelemektir. Çalışmada kentsel peyzajın oluşumunu insan, doğa ve yapısal çevre üçgeninde ayrıntılı bileşenlerini tesbite çalıştım.. Her ne kadar bu bileşenler birbirine bağımlı ve ayırımı güç olsa da, yaşadığı çevrenin kültürel değerleriyle yoğrulan insan zihninden başlayıp, aynı değerlerin mekana ve kente yansımasıyla oluşan ve kentin oluşmasıyla son bulmayan, hâlâ devam eden bu oluşum sürecini belirledim. Bunların sonucunda Süleymaniye Bölgesi'ne ait görsel değerleri, kentsel peyzaj açısından inceleyip edinilen imgeleri sekans analizi ve zihinsel haritalama yöntemiyle belgeledim. TOWNSCAPE ASPECT of SÜLEYMANİYE DISTRICT in the CONTEXT of HISTORICAL PENINSULA - ISTANBUL Written: İ.OZAN GÖZEL Adviser: Prof.Dr.AYKUT KARAMAN ABSTRACT The aim of this project; is to make analysis of formal constituation, to decode genius loci, to document visual values and perspectives that start losing progression with unsuitable constructions in traditional architecture by the interior and exterior townscape concerning visual samples and investigations of Süleymaniye District that has comprehensible urban image. In the project, I tried to expose detailed components of constituation of townscape in the concepts of human, structural environment and nature. In spite of the components are interconnect and hard to disconnect, I determined the progression of constitution of townscape start in human mind that is taken shape with cultural value of environment and constitude by reflection of the same values to space and city and not to last by city formation. As a result of this, I evaluated visual values of Süleymaniye District aspect of townscape and documanted resultant images using sequence analysis method and mental map drawings.
