dc.description.abstract262 5.SUMMARY The book on which we studied was written in the form of translation- comment in the 15 th centuries at which the written books in Turkish Literature are little and translation are intensive. The writer of the book whose Arabic real name is `Selve` is Muvaffak ibn-i Mecd-i Hâsî. The books told about `halvet end uzlet` subjects was gained to Turkish Language in the name of Münyetü'1-Ebrar ve Gunyetu'l-Ahyar after some addition done by Abdurrahim Karahisarî. Because the book is of high volume, the study covers certificafes (lb-31a) This study was prepared in two sections. In the first section, by transcribing the passage, Arabic terms passed in the passege were written in Arabic letters the same as hadith end ayah, end their correspondences were given in Turkish on footnote. In the second section of the study in view of meanirg, a dictionary dependiry upon the book was made end dormed index. Each word, Arabic terms mentioned in the passage except for hadith end ayah were sampled with a sentence selected in the passage. As well as the book on which we studied showed the features of the Turkish of ancient Turkey in the language, it is the products of transmission period of Ottoman Turkish. Therefore, during the work typical examples were espocially determimed in pronounciation.
