İzmirli İsmail Hakkı`nın kelâm anlayışında aklın ve naklin yeri

Abstract

İzmirli İsmail Hakkı (1868?1946) Osmanlı Devleti'nin sonu ile TürkiyeCumhuriyet'inin ilk döneminde yaşamış, İslâmî ilimlerin birçok alanında eserlervermiş ve özgün görüşleriyle dikkat çekmiş önemli bir düşünürdür. Batıdaki sonfelsefi akımlar karşısında İslam Kelâmı'nı yenileştirmeyi de savunmuş ve bualanda yöntem arayışlarına girilmesini önermiştir. Kelâm ilmine getirmek istediğiyeniliklerle Müslümanların sağlıklı bir inanç ve düşünceye sahip olmasınıistemiştir. Bunun için modern ilim ve felsefenin delilleriyle donatılmış çağdaş birKelâm ilmi meydana getirmeye çalışmıştır. Biz de bu çalışmamızda İzmirli'ninKelâm anlayışını ortaya koyarken Kelâm ilmine ait konulara akıl ve nakilaçısından nasıl baktığını tespit etmeye çalıştık. O, yaşadığı asırda oluşan bazıitikadi sorunlara geçmiş zamanlarda getirilen bir takım çözümlerin yeterliolmadığını savunmakta ve bunun için kendince yeni çözümler önermektedir.

İsmail Hakkı who is from İzmir (1868?1946) has lived in the last periods ofthe Ottoman Empire and the beginning of the Turkish Republic and he is animportant philosopher with his unique ideas and he has many works the variousfields of Islamic disciplines. In respect of the recent philosophical approaches inthe West, he defends the renewal of Islamic Theology and he suggests researches ofmethods in this field. He wants the Muslims to have a healthy belief and thoughtwith the novelties he wants to bring to the Islamic Theology discipline. Thus he hastried to maintain a contemporary theology discipline supported by arguments ofcontemporary disciplines and philosophy. We try to determine his perspective interms of narration and mind by dealing with his theological understanding. He hassuggested that some of the solutions to some belief concepts were not sufficient andthus he has suggested new solutions.
