XIX. yüzyıl pozitivist düşünürlerinden Auguste Comte ve Emile Durkheim`da din

Abstract

19. Yüzyılda başta Fransa olmak üzere, İngiltere ve Almanya‟da Aydınlanma, Fransız devrimi ve sanayi devriminin yol açtığı bir toplumsal kargaşa yaşanmıştır. Bu toplumsal kargaşanın nedeni olarak din gösterilmiştir. Dolayısıyla bu toplumsal değişime yeni yöntemlerle yön verilmesi gerektiği düşüncesi ile başta Auguste Comte olmak üzere, çoğu olgucu maddeci düşünür buna pozitif esaslara göre yön vermek istemişlerdir. Comte, insanlığın geçmişten günümüze kat ettiği ilerlemenin varacağı son aşamanın Pozitif toplum aşaması olduğunu belirterek bir insanlık dini oluşturmak istemiştir. Comte, oluşturduğu bu insanlık dininin bireylere sağladığı psikolojik destek ile birlikte toplum düzenine etkilerinden dolayı pragmatist bir tutum sergilemiştir. Din görüşünde metafizik yönünü tamamen kaldıran Comte, bu dinin Tanrısız olması gerektiğini ileri sürerek, insanlık dininin Tanrısının toplum olduğunu savunmuştur. Comte gibi Emile Durkheim‟de Fransız toplumunda meydana gelen kargaşadan etkilenmiş ve Comte‟un Tanrısız insanlık dini ile ilgilenmiştir. Durhheim bu doğrultuda ilkel kabile dinlerini inceleyerek genel bir din kuramı oluşturmuştur. Çalışmamızda Comte ile Durkheim görüşleri doğrultusunda konuya açıklık getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Pozitivizm, Pozitif düşünce, Din, Sosyoloji.

In the 19. th century, in especially France, England and Germany, there had been a social chaos that Enlightment, French Revolution and Industry Revolution lead to. Religion is shown as a reason of this social chaos. So, with the thought that this social change should be directed with new methods, firstly Auguste Comte, many positivist and materyalist thinkers wanted to direct this with positivist principles.Comte stated the last phase of the development that human goes through from the past to today is positive society phase and wanted to form a mankind religion. Comte exhibited a pragmatist attitude because of the effects to social order with the psychological support of this mankind religion. Comte who completely abolished the way of metaphysics in his wiev of religion, put forward this religion must be atheistic, and defended God of mankind religion is society. Like Comte, Emile Durkheim was effected from the chaos in French society and interested in Comte's atheistic mankind religion. Durkheim investigated the religions of primitive tribes and formed a general religion theory. In our work, this topic is clarified in the direction of Comte and Durkheim's ideas.Key words:Positivism, positivist thought, Religion, Sociologist.
