Dr. Emine ÖZGÜL KARAASLANEylül 2005, 67 sayfaKiral siklik poliokso sikloheksenonlar biyolojik aktiviteye sahip bir çokmaddenin sentezinde kullanılan çok değerli ara ürünlerdir.Bu çalışmada, sikloheksan-1,3-dion'dan başlanarak 2-bromo-6-hidroksi-3-metoksi-2-sikloheksen-1-on'un sentezi gerçekleştirilmiştir. lk önce, sikloheksan-1,3-dion, TiCl4 ve metanol ile tepkimeye sokulmuş ve 3-metoksi-2-sikloheksen-1-onelde edilmiştir. Sonra, metoksi enon, NBS ile α-konumundan bromlanmış ve 2-bromo-3-metoksi-2-sikloheksen-1-on sentezlenmiştir. Daha sonra, 2-bromo-3-metoksi-2-sikloheksen-1-on, Mangan(III) asetat ile benzen içinde tepkimeyeisokulmuş ve α'-asetoksi-2-bromo-3-metoksi-2-siklohesen-1-on elde edilmiştir. α'-asetoksi-2-bromo-3-metoksi-2-siklohesen-1-on, Mangan(III) asetat ile sikloheksaniçinde tepkimeye girdiğinde asetoksillendiği gözlenmiştir.γ-konumundanMangan(III) asetat ile asetoksillemenin ardından, α'-asetoksi enonun enzimatikhidrolizi kiral asetoksi ve hidroksi enonları vermiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler : Mangan(III) asetat, kiral siklo poliokso sikloheksenonlar,asetoksilasyon, kemoenzimatik sentezler.ii | |

Prof. Dr. Emine ÖZGÜL KARAASLANSeptember 2005, 67 pagesChiral cyclic polyoxo cyclohexenones are valuable intermediates used in thesynthesis of many biologically active compounds.In this work, the synthesis of 2-bromo-6-hydroxy-3-methoxy-2-cyclohexene-1-one starting from cyclohexane-1,3-dione is described. Firstly, cyclohexane-1,3-dione was reacted with TiCl4 and methanol, and 3-metoxy-2-cyclohexene-1-one wasobtained. Then, methoxy enone was brominated at α-position via NBS and 2-bromo-3-methoxy-2-cyclohexene-1-one was synthesized. After that, bromo methoxy enonewas treated with Mangan(III) acetate in benzene and 2-bromo-6-hydroxy-3-methoxy-i2-cyclohexene-1-one was achieved. When bromo methoxy enone was treated withMangan(III) acetate in cyclohexane, γ-acetoxylation was observed.
