dc.description.abstractBu çalısmada 4- Vinil Piridin monomeri asılanmıs PET liflerin Pb(II),Ni(II), Co(II) iyonları ile Brillant Mavisi boyasını adsorplama kapasitesininincelenmesi amaçlandı.Poli (Etilen Tereftalat) (PET) lifler Benzoil Peroksit (Bz2O2) baslatıcısıkullanılarak 4- Vinil piridin monomeri ile asılandı. Çalısmalar kesikli yöntemleyürütüldü.Adsorbsiyona zamanın, çözelti pH' sının, boya konsantrasyonunun,reaksiyon sıcaklıgının ve ası yüzdesinin etkileri arastırıldı. Brillant Mavisiadsorbsiyonunun dengeye ulasması için 30 dakikanın yeterli oldugu bulundu.Brillant Mavisi adsorbsiyon izoterminin Freundlich izoterm tipine uydugugörüldü. Adsorbsiyon ısısı 10,34 kJ/mol olarak hesaplandı.Anahtar Kelimeler: Adsorpsiyon, 4-Vinil Piridin, Poli(Etilen Tereftalat)(PET), Kursun(II), Nikel(II), Kobalt(II), Brillant Mavisi.
dc.description.abstractIn this study, investigation of adsorption capacity of 4-vinyl pyridinegrafted poly(ethylene terephthalate) fiber toward lead (II), Nickel (II), Cobalt(II) ions and Brillant Blue from aqueous solutions has been aimed.Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) fibers were grafted with 4- vinylpyridine using Benzoyl Peroxide (Bz2O2) as initiator. A batch equilibrationtechnique was used in the research.The nfluence of treatment time, pH of solution, dye concentration,reaction temperature and percent graft yield on adsorbed amount wereinvestigated. 30 min. of adsorption time was found sufficient to reachadsorption equilibrium for Brillant Blue. It was found that the adsorptionisoterm of Brillant Blue fitted to Freundlich type isoterm.
