Kaos teorisi ve sosyolojisi:Toplumların denetlenmesinde yeni bir adım

Abstract

Matematik ve doğa bilimlerindeki çalışmaların sonucunda ortaya çıkan Kaos Teorisi, yeni bir paradigma olarak sosyolojiye de uyarlanmak istenmektedir. Kaos Teorisi, barındırdığı veri ve bulgularla sosyolojide yeni açılımlar, toplum olaylarına yeni müdahale imkânları sağlamaktadır. Kökeni Antikçağ mitlerine dayanan kaos, Batı'da tarih boyunca benzeri bir işlev görmüştür. Konu tarihsel, toplumsal ve toplumlararası ilişkileri çerçevesinde ele alındığında, Kaos Teorisi üzerinden yapılmak istenen açılımların tarih boyunca Batı'da bu kavram üzerinden yapılan açılımlar ile örtüştüğü saptanabilmektedir. Kaos Teorisi'nin getirdiği yenilikler, bundan önce bilim dünyasına hakim olan determinist paradigma ile karşılaştırılarak ele alındığında, sosyoloji alanında teoriye atfedilen devrimsel nitelikli değişimlere yol açmadığı gözlenebilmektedir. Kaos Teorisi'nin sosyoloji de uygulanma çabaları değerlendirilerek, teorinin sosyoloji bilimine sağlayacağı katkıların sınırlı olduğu, matematiksel bir teknik olmaktan ileri gitmediği ortaya konulabilmektedir.

The Chaos Theory which is the consequence of the works in mathematics and nature sciences, aimed to be adapted to sociology as a new scientific paradigm. The Chaos Theory with its datas and discoveries, obtains the possiblities of new expansions in sociology and new social interferences in society. However it can be observed through a historical analyse that in West, chaos which has its origin in the myths of ancient ages, functions similarly during the western history. As the subject analysed with its historical and social and inter - social relations, it can be seen that the contemporary expansions that are aimed to happen in West is so similar to the ones in the history of West. As the innovations of this newly paradigm analysed by comparing it with the deterministic paradigm which used to be the dominant paradigm in the scientific world, it can be understood that those revolutionist changes which is attributed to Chaos Theory can not be easily realised. By evaluating the adapation efforts of the Chaos Theory in sociology, it can be pointed out that it is not more than mathematical technics that has a limited usage in sociology.
