Ebeveyn tutum ölçeği (ETÖ)

Abstract

Bu çalımanın amacı, anne ve babaların, 2-6 ya arasındaki çocuklarınıyetitirirken gösterdikleri ebeveynlik davranılarının belirlenmesini salayacak birölçek gelitirmektir. Bu amaçla, öncelikle Demokratik, Otoriter, Aırı Koruyucu vezin Verici olmak üzere 4 boyuttan oluan 62 maddelik bir ölçek oluturulmuturOluturulan bu ölçek, stanbul'da bulunan, düük, orta ve yüksek sosyoekonomikdüzeyi temsil eden 17 anaokuluna devam eden 2-6 ya arasındaki çocuuolan 420 anne ve babaya uygulanmıtır.Geçerlik çalımaları çerçevesinde yapılan Temel Bileenler ve VarimaxDöndürmesi analizleri sonucunda 16 madde ölçekten çıkarılmıtır. Bu ekilde ölçek46 maddeyle son halini almıtır.Yapılan güvenirlik analizleri sonucunda Cronbach alfa deerleri Demokratikboyut için .83, Otoriter boyut için .76, Aırı Koruyucu boyut için .75 ve zin Vericiboyut için ise .74 olarak hesaplanmıtır.Geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri sonuçları, bu çalıma ile oluturulan EbeveynTutum Ölçei'nin (ETÖ), yeterli düzeyde geçerlik ve güvenirlik deerlerine sahip birölçek olduunu göstermitir.Anahtar kelimeler: Ebeveyn tutum ve davranıları, Ebeveyn-çocuk ilikisi,Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçei.

The aim of this study is to develop a scale to evaluate the parenting behavioursof the mothers and the fathers towards their children aged between 2-6 years old.With this aim, a scale consisted of 4 dimensions as Authoritative, Authoritarian,Overprotective and Permissive and 62 items has been developed.This scale has been conducted to 420 parents who have children aged between2-6 years old from 17 nursery schools which represent low, middle and high socioeconomiclevel in Istanbul.As a result of the Principal Component and Varimax Rotation Analyses whichwere done within the framework of the validity studies, 16 items were omitted fromthe scale. In this way, the scale has come to its final version with 46 items.As a result of the reliability analysis, Cronbach alpha values were found to be;.83 for the Authoritative dimension, .76 for the Authoritarian dimension, .75 for theOverprotective dimension and .74 for the Permissive dimension.The validity and reliability analyses demonstrated that Parenting Attitude Scale(PAS), developed with this study, has a satisfactory level of validity and reliabilityvalue.Key words: Parenting styles and behaviors, Parent-child relationship, ParentingBehavior Scale.
