Hesiodos`ta Ergon

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Hesiodos'un Erga kai H?merai adlı eserinde ortaya konan çalışma (ergon) anlayışını filolojik ve felsefi bir yaklaşımla ele almak ve söz konusu kavramın Hesiodos'ta bireyi ortaya çıkaran bir davranış olarak anlaşıldığını göstermeye çalışmaktır. Bu sayede, Hesiodos'un Yunan düşüncesinin erken aşamasında, kosmos'a itilen bireyin hayat mücadelesini betimlemekle logos'a, başka deyişle felsefi düşünüşe öncülük ettiği ve kendisinden sonraki filozofların zihnini meşgul eden temel sorunlar üzerine eğilerek trajik akla giden yolu açtığı belirlenecektir.

The aim of this study is to approach to the concept of work (ergon) demonstrated in Hesiod?s Works and Days from both philological and philosophical angles and to endeavor to show that this concept is distinguished as an attitude which exposes the individual mind in Hesiod. By doing this, it will be designated that in the early stage of the Greek thought, Hesiod is the one that pioneers to logos, in other words to philosophical thinking by delineating the struggle of life of the individual who is impelled to the kosmos and gives way to the tragic mind by handling the basic problems that later philosophers pondered.
