Gelenekselci ekol ve modernizm eleştirisi

Abstract

Tarihte meydana getirdiği keskin dönüşüm açısından modernizm süreci Nuh Tufan'ına benzetilebilir. Nasıl ki Tufan yeryüzünden her şeyi silip süpürüyor ve sonrasında tüm insanlık için yeni bir dönem doğuyor, benzeri şekilde modernizm süreci de iki ayrı döneme işaret etmektedir: modernlik öncesi ve modern. Felsefe, bilim, din, ahlak, sanat ve diğer alanlar, bu süreçte meydana gelen köklü değişiklik uyarınca, modernlik öncesi felsefe ve modernlik sonrası felsefe, modernlik öncesi bilim ve modernlik sonrası bilim vs. şeklinde kabaca iki farklı bağlam içerisinde mütalaa edilebilmektedir. Başka bir deyişle, modern paradigma kendinden önce gelen tüm diğer paradigmalardan -özellikle Ortaçağ paradigmasından- kesin bir şekilde ayrılmaktadır. Bu süreç ortaya çıktığından bu yana, bilimden sanata kadar hemen her alanda meydana gelen köklü dönüşüm, gerek eleştiri gerek diğer amaçlar için olsun, bu alanlarla meşgul olan herkesi yakından ilgilendirmiştir. Bu noktada Gelenekselci Ekol modernizmi farklı bir bakış açısından -sofia perennis- eleştirmektedir. Çalışma çerçevesinde yeri geldikçe bu ekolün modernizm sorgulamasına değinilecektir.Çalışmada metod olarak, karşılaştırmalı yöntem kullanılmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu bakımdan modern perspektif geleneksel perspektifle farklı açılardan sık sık mukayeseye tabi tutulacaktır. Bununla birlikte, karşılaştırmalar bölümler arasında bulunabileceği gibi, ilgili bölümler içinde de mevcuttur. Nitekim ilk bölümde bu karşılaştırmalara nisbeten daha az, ikinci bölümde biraz daha fazla yer verilecektir. Özellikle son bölümde, modern dönemin en büyük sorunlarından biri olan sahte dinsel gruplar söz konusu olduğunda, mukayeseci tavır daha da belirginleşecektir.

Process of modernism can be imitated to the Noah?s Flood in terms of the radical conversion in the history that is occurred by this process. However the Flood sweeps off everything from the earth and afterward a new period appears for all humanity, similarly process of modernism designates two different period: premodern and modern. In contex of radical changing which arises during this process philosophy, science, religion, ethic, art, and the other disciplines can be viewed and categorized roughly two different period as premodern philosophy or modern philosophy, premodern science or modern science etc. In other words, modern paradigm is distinct from all other paradigms that is prior to itself- especially Middle Age- conclusively. From the domain of the science to the art, this radical conversion that occurs from the beginning of this process have been interested everyone who deal with this domains whether critical or other aims. At this point, it is the Traditionalist School that criticises modernism from very different viewpoint -sophia perennis-. During this working is going to be touched upon their inquiries of modernism whenever it is possible.At this working is going to be used the comperative method. So, the modern perspective and the traditional perspective would be compared with each other rather frequently. However, this comparison can be found between or in the chapters itself. As a matter of fact, it?s going to be given way to this comparison in the first chapter fewer but the second chapter upwards of the first. Especially in the last chapter, when it have mentioned the modern pseudo-religious groups, that?s one of the biggest problem of the modern period, this comperative attitude is going to be more marked.
