Cari açığın finansmanında turizm sektörünün rolü ve Gürcistan örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada turizmin cari açığa olan etkisi ve Gürcistan incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Gürcistan gelişmekte olan bir ülke, ödemeler dengesindeki cari açıkları ülke için çok önemli bir sorun yaratıyor ve ülkenin gelişmesini engelliyor. Turizm sektörü Gürcistan için son derece önemli bir sektördür; çünkü cari açığın kapatılmasında çok önemli bir rol oynuyor. Gürcistan daha önceden Sovyet Birliği'nde olduğu için ülkenin kapıları başka ülkeler için kapalıydı (Sovyet Birliği'nde olmayan ülkeler için); ama Sovyet Birliği'nden ayrıldıktan sonra kendi ayakları üzerinde durmayı öğreniyor ve kalkınmaya çalışıyor. Bu çalışmada turizm sektörünün gelişmesi, Gürcistan'ın Ödemeler dengesi açıklarını ve cari açığının nasıl finanse edebileceği incelenmiştir.

İn this study, effects of tourism on trade deficit and Georgian economy is evaluated. Georgia is a developing country therefor trade deficit is a big problem which also halts development process. Tourizm is an important sector for Georgian economy, because it plays an importan role in finansing of trade deficit. Georgia used to be a member of Soviet Union before and that `s why its borders were closed for other countries (except other members of soviet Union)/any kind of interaction with them was out of question, but after Georgia left the membership of soviet union its trying to learn how to be on its own and develop. This study shows how developed tourism finances the trade deficit of the country.
