dc.description.abstract | Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Mikrobiyoloji Laboratu- varma gönderilen ka</ kültürlerinden izole edilen Staphylo coccus cinsinden 50 koagülaz negatif susun belirlenmesinde 17 ayırd ettirici özellik incelenmiştir. İncelenen bu özel likler, plazmakoagülaz »nitrataz, alkali f osf ataz, arginin dehidrolaz, üreaz, hemolizin varlıgı, koloni büyüklüğü, pig ment üretimi, asetoin oluşumu, novobiyosine direnç, anaerop koşullarda glikozdan, aerop koşullarda maltoz, trehaloz,man- nitol, ksiloz, sukroz ve mannozdan asit oluşumudur. incelenen suşların 14'ü S.epidermidis, 11' i S.haemoly- ticus, 8' i S.saprophyticus, 5` i S.warneri, 4'ü S.hominis, 4'ü S.cohnii ve birer suş da S. capitis ve S.simulans olarak isimlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirilmeyen suş sayısi ikidir. Çalışmamızda izole edilen Staphylococcus cinsinden 50 koagülaz negatif susun %98'i ofloksasin'e, %96'sı netilmi- sin'e, %94'ü amikasin'e, %90'ı tobramisin, linkomisin, se- falosporin, %88'i sefoperazon, %86'sı sefotaksim, ogmentin'e %82*si seftriakson'e, %76'sı azidosilin, sefurotaksim'e, %74'ü karbenisilin'e, %72'si eritromisin, rifampisin'e,%62 ' si kanamisin'e, %58'i gentamisin'e,' %52'si streptomisin* e, %48'i kloramfenikol'e, %30'u amoksisilin, tetrasiklin'e, %28'i penisilin' e, %26*sı ampisilin ve %6*sı metisiline du- yarlı bulunmuştur. | |
dc.description.abstract | - 42 - SUMMARY Fifty coagulase-negative Staphylococcus strains, isolated from blood cultures in the Pediatric Clinic of Microbiology Laboratory, were investigated using 17 differential charac teristics to determine their species. These characteristics are coagulase, nitratase, alkaline phosphatase, arginine dihydrolase, urease and hemolysin activity, colony size, co lony pigment (carotenoid), acetoin production, novobiocin resistance, acid production from glucose anaerobically and from maltose, trehalose, mannitol, xylose, sucrose and mannose aerobically. 14 of the strains investigated were identified as S.epi- dermidis, 11 were S.haemolyticus, 8 were S.saprophyticus, 5 were s.warneri, 4 were S.hominis, 4 were S.cohnii, 1 was S. capitis and 1 was S.simulans. Two of the strains weren't identified. Among these fifty coagulase-negative Staphylococcus strains, 98% were found to be susceptible to ofloxacin, 96% to netilmicin, 94% to amikacin, 90% to tobramycin, lincomycin cephalosporin, 88% to cef operazone, 86 to cefotaxime, augmen- tin (amoxycillin-clavulanic acid),82% to ceftriaxone, 76% to azidocillin, cefuroxime, 74% to carbenicillin, 72% to eryth romycin, rifampicin, 62% to kanamycin, 58% to gentammicin, 52% to streptomycin, 48% to chloramphenicol, 30% to amoxy-^ çillin, tetracyline, 28% to penicillin, 26% to ampicillin and 6% to methicillin. | en_US |
