dc.description.abstract49 7-SÜMMARY In this study, the level of AST, ALT, ALP and y - GT in the liver, kidney and serum of the sea adapted Rainbow trout were determined. The level of those were also determined in the Rainbow trout which were grown m the pool. Fifty trout having the length of 26 cm and the weight of 200 g grown m the pool were used as control while fifty of the sea adapted trout the length of 26 cm and the weight of 240 g were used as experimental. The blood and tissue samples were taken in their original place. The samples were prepared as described in materials and methods and kept in the freezer until used. The mean level of AST in the serum 52.23 IU/L, in the liver 73.48 IU/g, in the kidney 58.13 IU/g, ALT level in the serum 17.96 IU/L, in the liver 42.90 IU/g, in the kidney 29.94 IU/g, ALP level in the serum 198.60 IU/L. in the liver 13.97 IU/g, in the kidney 37.66 IU/g, y - GT level in the serum 1.67 IU/L, in the liver 3.07 IU/g, in the kidney 30.39 IU/g were determined in the control group.50 The mean level of AST in the serum 247.74 IU/L, in the liver 132.70 IU/g, in the kidney 80.94 IU/g,.ALT level in the serum 30.74 IU/L, in the liver 79.06 IU/g, in the kidney 43.24 IU/g, ALP level in the serum 271.70 IU/L, in the liver 22.3 1 IU/g, in the kidney 46.41 IU/g, y - GT level in the serum 6. 16 IU/L, in the liver 7.44 IU/g, in the kidney 46.71 IU/g were determined in the experimental group. The p value of the AST m the liver p<0.01, in the kidney p<0.01, in the serum pO.Ol, ALT in the liver, p<0.01, in the kidney p<0.1, in the serum p<0.01, ALP in the liver, p<0.1, in the kidney p<0.5, in the serum p<0.01, y - GT in the liver, p<0.1, in the kidney p<0.01, in the serum pO.l.The results indicates that the differences between in the control and experimental groups are statistically significant. The levels of the enzymes in the serum and the tissue of the sea adapted trout were higher than that of control trouts. This difference might be because of the deleterious effect of pollution in the water.
