Anguilla anguiîla (Linnaeus, 1758); Clvpeonella cultriventris cullrivenlris (Nordmann, 1840); Esox lucius Linnaeus, 1758; Cyprimıs carpio Linnaeus, 1758; Carassius auratus gibelio (Bloch, 1783); Vimba vimba tenelia (Nordmann, 1840); Scardinius erythrophthalmus (Linnaeus, 1758); Rhodeus sericeus (Pallas, 1776); Rulilus rutiîus (Linnaeus, 1758); Leuciscus (Squalius) cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758); Leuciscus (Squalius) borysthenicus (Kessler, 1859); Chalcalburnus ehaleoides (Güldenstaedti, 1772); Gobio gobio (Linnaeus, 1758); Barbus plebejus eseherichi Stetndachner, 1897; Tinea Unca (Linnaeus, 1758), Cobilis taenia, Linnaeus, 1758; Silurus glanis Linnaeus, 1758; Gasterosteus aculeatus Linnaeus, 1758; Gambusia affinis (Baird & Girard, 1853); Perca flııviatilis Linnaeus, 1758; Neogobius melanostoınus (Pallas, 1811); Proterorhinııs marmoratus (Pallas, 1811); Knipowitschia caucasica (Kawrajsky, 1916).
V ABSTRACT A Study on the Fishes and Their Morphologies in Büyükçckmece Dammed-Lake it was determined in the present study that 23 species, including 4 subspecies and belonging to 10 families, are available in the streams and in Büyükçekmece Dammed-Lake established by blocking its connection with sea. Diagnostic characteristics of those fishes were studied. Those species are as follows: Anguilla anguilla (Linnaeus, 1758); Clupeonella cultriventris cultriventris (Nordmann, 1840); Esox lucius Linnaeus, 1758; Cyprinus carpin Linnaeus, 1758; Carassius auratus gibelio (Bloch, 1783); Vimba vimba tenella (Nordmann, 1840); Scardinius erythrophthalmus (Linnaeus, 1758); Rhodeus sericeus (Pallas, 1776); Rutilus rutilus (Linnaeus, 1758); Leuciscus (Squalius) cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758); Leuciscus (Squalius) borysihenicus (Kcsslcr, 1859); Chalcalburnus chalcoides (Giildenstacdti,.1772); Gobio gobio (Linnaeus, 1758); Barbus plebejus escherichi Stcindachner, 1897; Tinea tinea (Linnaeus, 1758), Cobitis taenia, Linnaeus, 1758; Silurus glanis Linnaeus, 1758; Gasterosteus aculeatus Linnaeus, 1758; Gambusia affinis (Baird & Girard, 1853); Perca fltiviatilis Linnaeus, 1758; Neogobius melanostomus (Pallas, 1811); Proterorhinus marmoratus (Pallas, 1811); Knipowitschia caucasica (Kawrajsky, 1916). Of these, Perca fltiviatilis was the lastest reported by Devedjian (1926), and Gobio gobio, Barbus plebejus escherichi and Leuciscus cephalus by Geldiay and Balık (1988). These fishes were not noted in the recent studies of the lake, but in the present study, these 4 species have been obtained from the streams flowing into the lake.en_US
