Abstract

ÖZET Deniz Sektöründe Kara İşletmelerinin İşlevi Dünyamızda bugün küreselleşme sürecinin getirdiği yoğun rekabet ortamında ülke ekonomileri için en önemli temel sektörlerden biri olan denizcilik sektörü, sağladığı girdiler açısından büyük önem arzetmektedir. Denizcilik; tümüyle uluslararası ve hizmet ağırlıklı bir ekonomik faaliyettir. Bu faaliyetten beklenen faydanın sağlanması için nicelik ve nitelik açısından yeterli, etkin, hızlı ve çağdaş bir hizmet anlayışı ile sektörü oluşturan halkaların birbirleriyle uyum içinde çalışması gerekmektedir. Deniz ticaretinin asıl unsurunu oluşturan ve taşıyıcı olarak yükün yer değiştirmesini sağlayan gemi iştetmeciliğinin yanında deniz ticaret filosu; liman işletmeciliği, deniz acentalığı, brokerlik, yükleme-boşaltma işçiliği (stevedoring), deniz sigortacılığı gibi karadan yönlendirilen denizcilik faaliyetleri ile romörkaj, pilotaj, arama-kurtarma gibi destek ünitelerinin tümü entegre denizcilik faaliyetleridir. Bıı nedenle, ülkemizin hızla gelişen denizcilik sektöründe gerekli atılım ve etkinliği sağlayabilmesi için adı geçen denizcilik kolları arasında koordinasyonu sağlaması ve bu ara işkollarında çalışacak elemanların eğitim standartlarını yükseltmesi gerekmektedir. vııı

ABSTRACT Function of the Landing Activities at Maritime Sector Shipping, which one of the most important major sectors for country economies at the intensive competition environment brought by globalisation process nowadays, have major importance in its provided input point of view. Shipping is an economic activity completely international and base on service. In order to get expected utilities from this activity, an effective, active, rapid and modern service opinion quantity and quality point of view and concordant studies of chains constituted the sector is required. Besides the ship management which is the major component of coasting trade and provides transportation of goods as carrier. Shipping activities orientated from land such as merchant fleet port management ship agency, broker age, stevedoring, sea insurance and all of the supplementary units such as ship provisions services tugging, pilotage, search and rescue, towage are integrated shipping activities. Therefore, in order to our country able to get required development and activity at rapidly developing shipping sector, a co-ordination should be provided between above mentioned shipping brach, and education standards of the personnel will be work at this business branch have to be increased.
