dc.description.abstract | ÖZETATIK PET'IN GLIKOLIZI ILE ELDE EDILEN OLIGOMERLERIN ALKIDREÇINESI ÜRETIMINDE KULLANIMIBu çalismada, atik polietilen tereftalat (PET), etilen glikol (EG) kullanilarak, çinkoasetat katalizörlügünde depolimerize edilmistir.PET/EG mol orani 1/2, 1/4, 1/6 alinarak elde edilen atik PET'in EG ile glikoliz ürünleri,üç kez kaynar su ile eksrakte edilmistir ve solid fraksiyon suda çözünmeyen ürünolarak adlandirilmistir. Süzüntü 40 C'a sogutularak, kristallenen solid kisim süzülerekayrilmis ve suda çözünüp kristallenebilen ürün olarak adlandirilmistir. Glikolizürünlerinin tümü, ftalik anhidrit, pentaeritritol ve yag asidi ile reaksiyona sokulmus vealkid reçineleri hazirlanmistir. Reaksiyonlar asit indisi ve viskozite tayinleri ile takipedilmistir. Alkid reçinelerinin, kuruma zamani, sertlik, asinma dayanimi, alkaliye vesuya dayaniklilik gibi fiziksel ve kimyasal özellikleri incelenmistir. Ayrica, alkidreçinelerine termogravimetrik analiz uygulanmistir.Atik PET'den elde edilen reçineler, ftalik anhidrit, pentaeritritol, yag asidi ve etilenglikol kullanilarak hazirlanan referans reçine ile karsilastirilmistir. dc.description.abstract | SUMMARYUSAGE OF OLIGOMERS PRODUCED BY GLYCOLYSIS OF WASTE PETFOR ALKYD RESIN MANUFACTURINGIn this work, waste polyethylene terephthalate was depolymerized by using ethyleneglycol in the presence of zinc acetate as catalyst.Gycolysis reaction products of waste PET obtained by using PET/EG molar ratio 1/2,1/4, 1/6 were exracted three times with boiling water and solid fraction was namedwater insoluble fraction. The filtrate was cooled to 40 C and crystallized solid obtainedby filtration was named water soluble crystallizable fraction. All of the glycolysisproducts were reacted with phthalic anhydride, penthaerythritol, fatty acid and alkydresins were prepared. The reactions were followed with acid value and viscositydeterminations. The physical and chemical properties such as drying time, hardness,abrasion resistance, water and alkaline resistance of these resins were investigated.Besides, thermogravimetric analysis of alkyd resins was applied.The waste PET resins were compared with the reference resin prepared with phthalicanhydride, penthaerythritol, fatty acid and ethylene glycol. The properties of the resinswere found to be compatible with the properties of the reference resin.ix | en_US |
