Bu çalışmada elma karaleke hastalığı etmenine {Venturia inaequalis (Cke.) Wint.)'duyarlılıklan farklı Granny Smith, Starkspur Golden ve Starkrimson elma çeşitlerinin yapraklarından periyodik aralıklarla yapılan 5 izolasyonun sonucunda 43 farklı fungus tür veya izolatlan saptanmıştır. Elma fillosferinde Cryptococcus (beyaz maya), Sporobolomyces (pembe maya), Alternaria, Penicillium, Cladosporium, Epicoccum, Heterosporium, Papularia, Peyronellaea ve Papularia fungal türleri belirlenmiştir. Yaprak yüzey mikroorganizmaları suda süspanse edilerek cm2 yaprak yüzeyindeki fungal populasyon hesaplandığında her üç elma çeşidinde de Aurebasidium ve Cryptococcus türlerinin toplam fungus populasyonunun büyük bir kısmını oluşturduğu görülmüştür. In vitro' da. V. inaequalis' 'in miseliyal gelişimini değişik antagonistik yöntemlere göre en iyi inhibe ettiği saptanan fungus izolatlan Cryptococcus (A21), Sporobolomyces (A3), Penicillium (A8, Ali) ve Papularia (Al) türleri olmuştur. İkili kültür çalışmalarının sonucunda Cryptococcus, Sporobolomyces, Alternaria altenata, Papularia ve Epicoccum türlerinin ürettikleri uçucu antibiyotiklerin V. inaequalis' m. miseliyal gelişimini %100 inhibe ederek diğer izolatlara göre daha etkili oldukları saptanmıştır. Prof. Dr. Ali ERKILIÇ :Prof. Dr. N. Kemal KOÇ : Assist. Prof. Dr. Akif ESKALEN In this study, 43 different fungus species or isolats which have various suscebility against apple scab pathogen, Venturia inaequalis (Cke.) Wint. have been determined after 5 periodical isolations from leaves of Granny Smith, Starkspur Golden and Starkrimson apple species. Cryptococcus (white yeast), Sporobolomyces (pink yeast), Alternaria, Penicillium, Cladosporium, Epicoccum, Heterosporium, Papularia, Peyronellaea andPapularia fungal species have been determined on apple phyllosphere. It is observed that Aurebasidium and Cryptococcus species are the major part, of all fungus population for each of three apple species, after calculation of fungal population on 1 cm2 by suspensing leaf surface microorganisms in water. In. In vitro studies, Cryptococcus (A21), Sporobolomyces (A3), Penicillium (A8, All) and Papularia (Al) species are determined best fungus isolats to inhibit mycelial development of V. inaequalis, with various antagonistic methods. Results of dual culture studies shown that volatile antibiotics produced by Cryptococcus, Sporobolomyces, Alternaria altenata, Papularia and Epicoccum species have better efficiency compared to other isolats by 100% inhibiting mycelial development of V. inaequalis.
