Büyükçekmece gölü`ndeki bazı ağır metallerin astacus leptodactylus (Eschscholtz, 1823)`ta mevsimsel olarak izlenmesi

Abstract

Bir yıl boyunca yürütülen bu çalışmada; Büyükçekmece Gölü'nün suyu ve sedimenti ile gölde yaşayan Astacus leptodactylus (Eschscholtz, 1823)'un kas dokularında kurşun (Pb) ve kadmiyum (Cd) ağır metallerinin mevsimsel olarak birikiminin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Bu amaç doğrultusunda Büyükçekmece Gölü'ndeki kurşun (Pb) ve kadmiyum (Cd) ağır metallerinin A. leptodactylus'ta mevsimsel olarak takibi yapılmıştır. Araştırma için kullanılan 80 istakoza ve gölden alınan numunelere kuvvetli asit çözünürleştirmesi uygulanmış metal ölçümleri ICP-MS cihazında yapılmıştır.Çalışmada, metal birikimlerinin mevsimler arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli farklılıklar gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir (p<0.005). En yüksek Pb, Cd birikimi, göl suyu ve istakoz da ilkbaharda ölçülürken, sediment de Pb sonbaharda, Cd için ise kış mevsiminde ölçülmüştür. Ağır metal birikim sıralaması sediment>istakoz>su olarak belirlenmiştir.Bu çalışmayla Büyükçekmece Gölü'nün sediment tabakasının Ontario Regulation'a göre herhangi bir tehlike arz etmediği görülmüştür. Tarım ve Köy İşleri Bakanlığı'nın Su Ürünleri Yönetmeliği'ne göre sucul ortamın kabul edilebilir değerler arasında olduğu ve A. leptodactylus'un kas dokularının kurşun ağır metali bakımından kabul edilebilir değerlerin üstünde olduğu görülmüştür. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (WHO)'ne göre ise göl suyunun ağır metaller bakımından içilebilir standartlarda olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

This study, carried out for one year, aimed to investigate as seasonal accumulation of some heavy metals as Cadmium and Lead in water and sediment of the Lake Büyükçekmece; also in muscle tissue of crayfish Astacus leptodactylus inhabiting in the lake. For this purpose, Lead and Cadmium was monitored seasonally in the Lake Büyükçekmece. Strong acids digestion methods were used to determined heavy metals, ICP-MS for measurement of metal contents in 80 crayfishes and samples from the lake. As a conclusion; it is determined that metal concentrations were significantly different by seasons (p<0,005). The highest accumulation was found to be for crayfish in spring time waters, for sediment in terms of Pb in autumn, Cd in winter. Accumulations in sediment were higher comparing with crayfish in or around the water. Heavy metal concentrations were determined sediment>muscle>water. From this study, it is found that values for sediment of the Lake Büyükçekmece are lower than the acceptable levels, according to the Ontario Regulation. In Turkey, according to the standards determined by the government, it is possible to say that the values of Cd in muscle tissues we found in our study, lower than the acceptable limits but the values for Pb we found seems higher than the acceptable limits. Considering the WHO standards, the values of the study seems to be in the intervals for the drinking water.
