Acridotheres tristis (Linnaeus, 1758) (Aves:Sturnidae)`in İstanbul`da gözlenen bazı populasyonlarının dağılımı ve biyolojisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma Acridotheres tristis (Linnaeus, 1758)'in İstanbul'da gözlenen bazı populasyonlarının dağılımı ve biyolojisinin belirlenebilmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu Çalışma kapsamında A. tristis'in İstanbul'da gözlenen bazı populasyonlarının dağılımı ve biyolojisinin belirlenebilmesi için bir yıl boyunca 5 Ekim 2016 ile 23 Eylül 2017 arasında belirlenen istasyonlarda toplam 144 gözlem yapılmıştır.Yapılan çalışmada A. tristis'in istilacılık sürecinin başlangıç aşamalarında olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan saha gözlemlerinde A. tristis'in birçok koşula uyum sağlayabildiği, insan etkisinin olduğu alanlarda beslenme ve barınma avantajı edinebildiği gözlemlenmiştir. Uyum sağlama ve geniş beslenme, hayatta kalma, yuva yeri bulma yelpazesine sahip olan bu türün ileride İstanbul ve diğer illerimizde istilacılık sürecinde başarılı olacağı öngörülmektedir. Bu çalışma ile istilacı olduğu bilinen ve ülkemizde hakkında hiçbir bilimsel çalışma gerçekleştirilmemiş olan A. tristis'in dağılımı ve biyolojisine ilişkin temel verileri ortaya koymaktadır.

This study was carried out with the aim of determining the distribution and biology of some populations of Acridotheres tristis (Linnaeus, 1758) observed in Istanbul. To determine the distribution and biology of some populations of A. tristis in Istanbul, a total of 144 observations (3 times in a month per station) were made at the predetermined 4 stations between October 5, 2016 and September 23, 2017 in a year in the study. A. tristis was found to be in the initial stages of invasion in Istanbul. According to the field observation, A. tristis could adapt to many conditions, and be able to benefit from nutrition and sheltering in in anthropogenic areas. The fact that A. tristis has a wide range of features for its vital activities such as adaptation, nutrition, survival and nesting point to the possibility that the process of invasion for Istanbul and other cities in the future is likely to be successful. This study shows that the main data on the distribution and biology of A. tristis, which is known to be invasive and has no scientific work in Turkey.
