Tekstil endüstrisinde kullanılan sentetik boyarmaddelerin %10-20 miktarıboyama islemi sonrası atık sularla kontrolsüz olarak desarj edilmektedir.Kontrolsüz desarjla atılan boyarmaddeler ulastıkları ortamdan besin zinciriyoluyla insana kadar ulasmakta ve insan saglıgını tehdit etmektedir.Bu çalısmada, sentetik asit, direkt, dispers ve reaktif boyarmaddelerdenReactive Black 5, Reactive Blue 19, Reactive Red 120, Reactive Red 141, ReactiveYellow 84, Dispers Red 167, Dispers Blue 71, Dispers Red 74, Dispers Orange 30,Dispers Blue 60, Direct Yellow 86, Direct Orange 39, Direct Blue 200, DirectYellow 142, Direct Red 243, Acid Blue 127, Acid Orange 51, Acid Black 63, AcidYellow 17 ve Acid Blue 113' ün genotoksik özelligi, kısa zamanlı bakteriyel testsistemi olan umu-test (Salmonella thyphimurium TA1535/pSK1002) ilearastırılmıstır. Boyarmaddelerin 400 ?g/ml, 120 ?g/ml, 40 ?g/ml ve 4 ?g/mlkonsantrasyonlarda çözeltileri hazırlanıp, S9 fraksiyonu kullanılarakboyarmaddelerin karaciger enzimleri varlıgında organizmadakibiyotransformasyon etkilerine bakılmıstır.Sentetik boyarmaddelerin dört farklı grubundan çalısılan bu 20 farklıboyarmaddeden Reaktive Yellow 84, Reaktive Black 5 ve Direkt Blue 200' ün S9fraksiyonu varlıgında 400 ?g/ml konsantrasyonda, Reaktive Black 5 ve DirektBlue 200' ün S9 fraksiyonu yoklugunda 400 ?g/ml konsantrasyonda, Direkt Blue200' ün S9 fraksiyonu varlıgında 120 ?g/ml konsantrasyonda mutajenik etkiyesahip oldukları belirlenmistir.
About 10 ? 20 percent of synthetic dyes used in textile industry aredischarged without being controlled to the waste waters after the dyeing process.Dyes which are discharged without being controlled reach to the human beings byfood chain and threaten their health. In this study, the genotoxicity of Reactive Black 5, Reactive Blue 19,Reactive Red 120, Reactive Red 141, Reactive Yellow 84, Dispers Red 167, DispersBlue 71, Dispers Red 74, Dispers Orange 30, Dispers Blue 60, Direct Yellow 86,Direct Orange 39, Direct Blue 200, Direct Yellow 142, Direct Red 243, Acid Blue127, Acid Orange 51, Acid Black 63, Acid Yellow 17 and Acid Blue 113 from thegroups of synthetic acid, direct, dispersed and reactive dyes are searched by umutest (Salmonella thyphimurium TA1535/pSK1002 ) which is short term bacterialtest system. Concentrations of 400 ?g/ml, 120 ?g/ml, 40 ?g/ml and 4 ?g/ml of dyesolutions are prepared. By using S9 fraction, the biotransformation effects of thedyes in an organism at the presence of liver enzymes are researched.20 dyes within the four different synthetic dye groups are studied. It isfound that Reactive Yellow 84, Reactive Black 5 and Direct Blue 200 havemutagenic effects at the presence of S9 fraction at 400?g/ml concentration andReactive Black 5, Direct Blue 200 have mutagenic effect at the absence of S9fraction at 400?g/ml concentration and Direct Blue 200 has mutagenic effects atthe presence of S9 fraction at 120 ?g/ml concentration.en_US
