dc.description.abstractBZ 61ukoz~6--Fasfat Dehidrogenaz enzim eksikliği olan 5-20 yas arası 14 olgu ila aynı yas grubunda olan 14 sağlıklı kontrol araştırma kapsamına alındı» Hasta ve kontrollerde eritrosit G6PD (kalitatif ve kantitat if), eritrosit glutatyon peroksidaz (GSH-Px), glutatyon redüktaz <GSH-Rx) akt ivitelarine ve serum vitamin E düşeyine bakıldı. Serum vitamin £ düzeyleri, Glukoz-6--Fasfat Dehidrogenaz enzim eksikliği olan grupta 5,3410.99 ug/ml; sağlıklı kontrollerde ise, 7.1111.67 ug/ml olarak bulundu (p<0.05). G6PD enzim eksikliği olanlarda eritrosit G6PD aktivitesi 2.84±0.91 ü/q Hb, kontrollerde 9.32±3.40 ü/g Hb olarak bulundu (p<0.05). G6PD enzim eksikliği alanlarda eritrosit GSrl-Px aktivitesi 3.2410.90 ü/g Hb, kontrollerde 9,0912.35 ü/g Hb a tara k bul u n d u. GSH-Rk aktivitesi 14 kişide normalin altında bulundu. dc.description.abstractGLUTATHIONE PEROXIDASE, GLUTATHIONE REDUCTASE AND VITAMIN E LEVELS IN THE ERYTHROCYTIC GLUCOSE-6- PHOSPHATE DEHYDROGENASE DEFICIENCY ABSTRACT In this study, 14 cases with g lucose-6--phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency aged between 5-20 years old and 14 healthy control in the same age group have been included» Erythrocytic G6PD activities (both qualitative and quantitative) glutathione reductase (GSH-Rk, and glutathione oeroxidase (G3H-Px), and serum vitamin E levels have been determined in G6PD deficient cases and controls. The mean serum Vitamin E levels were 5.34±0.99 ug/ml in the cases with qlucosa~6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, and serum vitamin E levels were measured as 7. liil.67 ug/ml in the healthy group. The erythrocytic G6PD levels were 2.34±0.91 u/q Hb in G6PD deficient cases and 9.32±3.40 ü/g Hb in healthy group. The mean erythrocytic GSH~Px levels were 3.24±0.90 u/q Hb and 9.09+2.35 ü/g Hb in the cases with glucose~6- phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency atnd the healthy qrouD, respectively. GSH-Rx activity was lesser then normal values in fourteen cases. On the other hand, erythrocytic GSH-Rx activity was normal in the control group.
