Okullarda sosyal adalet uygulamalarına ilişkin yönetici ve öğretmen görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, okullarda sosyal adaletin gerçekleşme düzeyine ilişkin okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenlerin algılarını belirleyerek mevcut sorunlara çözüm önerileri geliştirmek ve sosyal adalet kavramına ilişkin bir farkındalık oluşturmaktır. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerine göre gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma betimsel tarama modelinde desenlemiştir. Araştırmanın evreni, 2015-2016 yıllarında Batman'da eğitim veren ilkokul ve ortaokulda görev yapan öğretmen ve yöneticilerden oluşmaktadır. Örneklem seçiminde `basit tesadüfî örnekleme` yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde parametrik yöntemler olarak t testi; nonparametrik yöntemler olarak Mann Whitney U ve Kruskall Wallis testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar şöyledir: Hem okul yöneticileri hem de öğretmenler okullarda sosyal adaletin uygulanmasına ilişkin olumlu görüş beyan etmişlerdir. Bununla beraber okul yöneticilerinin öğretmenlere göre daha olumlu görüşe sahip oldukları gözlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin sahip oldukları branş ve çalıştıkları okul düzeyi onların `sosyal adaletin algılanma düzeyine ilişkin görüşlerini` etkilememektedir. Hem yönetici hem de öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre `dünya görüşleri, geldikleri bölge, cinsiyetleri, ekonomik durumlarına bakılmaksızın` tüm öğrenciler eşit muamele görmektedir. Okul ortamında kadın ya da erkek ayrımı yapmaksızın herkesin fikrini özgür bir şekilde ifade edebileceği rahat bir ortam sağlanması gerektiği önerilmektedir.

The aim of the search is to provide solutions to existing problems by identifying the perceptions of school administrators and teachers towards the level of realization of social justice in schools and to develop an awareness towards the concept of social justice. This research carried out as a model of quantitative research was conducted in descriptive scanning.The research universe consists of teachers and administrators in elementary and secondary schools at the term of 2015-2016 education year in Batman. In the process of sample selection `simple random sampling` method was used. The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS software (Statistical package for the Social Sciences). Parametric methods in the analysis of the data the t test; nonparametric methods such as Mann Whitney U and kruskal Wallis tests were used. The obtained outcomes from the research are: both the school administrators and teachers in the schools expressed positive opinions on the implementation of social justice. However, it has been observed that school administrators have more positive views than teachers do. The branches that teachers have and the level of schools in which they work don't affect on their opinions about the perceived level of social justice. According to the opinion of both the administrators and the teachers, all of the students, notwithstanding anything contrary to contained in the places where they live in, genders, economic situations etc. were treated equally.In the school environment, the fact that it should be provided for a comfortable environment where everyone can freely express their own opinion is recommended.
