dc.description.abstractBu yüksek lisans tezinde, C2-simetrisine sahip 1,2-diol ligandlarının sentezi > % 99 enantiyomerik fazlalık ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Optikçe saf C2-simetrik (1R,2R)-1,2-bis(3,5-dibromofenil)-etan-1,2-diol (4) ve (1R,2R)-1,2-bis(3,5-difenilfenil)-etan-1,2-diol (6) ligandlarının yapıları, elementel analiz, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR ve kütle spektral verileri kullanılarak karakterize edilmiştir. Sentezlenen kiral (4) ve (6) ligandlarının, çeşitli şartlarda (sıcaklık, zaman, katalizör, çözücü) aromatik aldehitlere enantiyoseçici dietilçinko katılma reaksiyonunda katalitik aktiviteleri incelenmiştir. (4) ve (6) katalizörlüğünde, benzaldehit ve sterik engelli 1-naftaldehit bileşiklerine, dietilçinko katılmasında mükemmel enantiyoseçicilik (%97-99 ee) elde edilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractAt this graduate thesis, C2-symmetric diols were synthesized with >99% enantiomeric excess. Optically pure C2-symmetric (1R,2R)-1,2-bis(3,5-dibromophenyl)-ethane-1,2-diol (4) and (1R,2R)-1,2-bis(3,5-diphenylphenyl)-ethane-1,2-diol (6) were characterized by using elemental analysis, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR and mass spectral data. Synthesized chiral (4) and (6) ligands were evaluated in the enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to aromatic aldehydes in different conditions (temperature, time, catalyst, solvent). The addition of diethylzinc to benzaldehyde and sterically hindered 1-naphthaldehyde was achived with excellent enantioselectivities (97-99% ee) under catalysis with (4) and (6).en_US
