Sosyal bilgiler dersinde kazandırılması gereken değerlerin ailelerin sosyo ekonomik durumlarına göre incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programı'nda yer alan değerlerin ailelerin sosyoekonomik yapılarına göre incelenmesi ve aileler tarafından bu değerlerden hangilerine öncelikverildiğinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır.Bu amaçla Kastamonu ilinde bulunan ve sosyo ekonomik yapı açısından 3 farklı seviyede (alt,orta ve üst) olduğu saptanan 3 ortaokulun velileri üzerinde görüşme formu uygulanmıştır. Buformlar sonucunda elde edilen veriler, tablolar üzerine işlenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın örneklemi,random şekilde seçilen 3 farklı sosyo ekonomik düzeye sahip okuldaki 90 öğrenci velisinden(velilerin tamamı öğrencilerin babaları olmak üzere) oluşmaktadır.Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veriler, sosyo ekonomik yapıbakımından farklı olan 3 ortaokuldaki öğrenci velileri ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeyapılarak ve görüşme formu uygulanarak toplanılmıştır. Görüşme formlarında velilere uzmangörüşü ve diğer araştırmacıların görüşleri alınarak hazırlanmış 10 soru sorulmuştur. Verilerbetimsel analiz yoluyla çözümlenmiştir. vBu araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, söz konusu öğrenci velilerinin, Sosyal Bilgilerdersinde kazandırılmasını bekledikleri öncelikli değerlerin, sosyo ekonomik yapılarına görefarklılaştığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca ailelerin gelir durumuna, ailelerdeki birey sayısına,velilerin öğrenim durumuna ve çalıştıkları meslek grubuna göre de incelendiğinde, ailelerindeğer önceliklerinde farklılaştığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. 3 sosyo ekonomik gruptaki tümvelilerin en çok öncelik verdikleri 3 değerin saygı, vatanseverlik ve dürüstlük olduğusonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Bu araştırma, son dönemlerde akademik ve politik açıdan önem verilen değerler eğitimininsosyo ekonomik yapıya göre incelenmesi nedeniyle önemlidir. Değerler eğitiminde velilerinöncelikleri ortaya çıkarılmıştır. In this work, it is aimed to study the values which should be gained in social studies lessonsaccording to the socio-economical situations of the families and to determine which of thesevalues are prioritized by the families.With this purpose, interview form is applied on the parents of 3 Secondary Schools which arelocated in Kastamonu city and which are determined to be among the three different levels interms of socio-economical structure. The datas that are gained as a result of these forms, areprocessed on tables. The sample of this research consist of 90 student parents (being all of theparents are students' fathers) in schools being selected randomly and that have three differentsocio economical levels.In this study, qualitative research method is used. The datas were gathered by making semiconfiguredinterview and by applying interview forms with the student parents in thesecondary schools that are different in terms of the socio-economical structure. In interviewforms, 10 questions, prepared by taking opinions of experts and other researchers were askedto the parents. The datas were resolved by means of descriptive analyse.viiAccording to the results attained from these researches, it is concluded that the primary valuesthat these mentioned parents expect to gain in social studies lessons differ according to thesocio-economical structures of them. Also, when examining this according to the incomeconditions of the families, numbers of the individuals in the families, the educationalconditions of the parents and according to the occupations that the parents work in, it isconcluded that the primary values of the familes differ. It is concluded that all the parents ofthree socio-economical groups, mostly give priority to the three values are; respect, patriotismand honesty.This research is important due to the values education which is being given importancerecently in terms of academically and politically is being examined according to the socioeconomicstructure. The priorities of the parents in values education is detected. Theexamining of these values is made according to the socio-economical structures.
