Kastamonu`daki inanç turizminin Kastamonu`ya katkısı: Şeyh Şaban-ı Veli Külliyesinde bir uygulama

Abstract

Bilgi, iletişim ve teknolojideki gelişmeler, seyahat sürelerini giderek kısaltmakta vebu durum insanların yeni yerler görme isteğinde artış meydana getirmektedir. Deniz,kum ve güneşten oluşan klasik turizm anlayışının yanında yeni turizm çeşitlerigündeme gelmekte, inanç turizmi de bu turizm türleri arasında gittikçe artan şekildeönem kazanmaktadır.İnanç turizmini Kastamonu ili için konu edinen bu tez ile Kastamonu'daki inançturizmi açısından potansiyeli yüksek olan dini varlıkları ziyaret eden turistlerinkişisel profilinin ortaya çıkarılması ve inanç turizmi dolayısıyla Kastamonu'ya gelenturistlerin bu turizmin ne yönde il'e katkı sağlayabileceğine ilişkin görüşlerininbelirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İnanç turizminin diğer turizm türlerine ne gibi farklıetkilerinin olabileceği, Kastamonu ilinin inanç turizmi bakımından mevcut durumuile neler yapılması gerektiği farklı boyutlardan ele alınmak istenmiştir.Kastamonu il merkezinde yer alan Şeyh Şabânı Velî Camii ve Külliyesini ziyaretegelenlerin kişisel profilleri ile ilgili olarak bilgi edinilmesi ve inanç turizmininKastamonu'ya katkısı hakkındaki görüşlerinin incelenmesi çalışmanın kapsamıolarak belirlenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda tez konusu ile ilgili ilk önce literatür taramasıyapılmış ardından saha araştırması olarak anket çalışması düzenlenmiştir. Sözkonusu bu anket çalışması SPSS istatistik programında analiz edilerek `bağımlılıkkatsayısı` yöntemi kullanılarak sonuçlar yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır.Sonuç olarak, Kastamonu'daki inanç turizmi faaliyetlerinin gelişimi ile yöredekiyatırımlar arasında anlamlı yakın bağ olduğu, bu durumun ildeki tarım, sanayi,hizmetler sektöründeki diğer ekonomik birimlere de olumlu yansıyabileceği, ayrıcainanç turizminden elde edilen kaynaklar ile yöre halkının refahında ve gelirdağılımında iyileşme sağlanabileceği söylenebilir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Turizm, ekonomi, inanç turizmi, Kastamonu'da inanç turizmi

Advances in information and communication technologies are steadily shorteningtravel times, and this leads to an increase in people's desire to see new places.Besides the classical tourism concept consisting of sea, sand and sun, new tourismvarieties come to the agenda, faith tourism is becoming increasingly importantamong these tourism types.With this thesis which is the subject of Kastamonu province in direction of faithtourism, it is aimed to determine uncovering the personal profile of tourists visitingreligious sites with high potential for religious tourism in Kastamonu and theopinions of tourists coming to Kastamonu on the way of contributing to the provincein terms of tourism. What different effects might be on other tourism types of faithtourism and what is to be done with faith tourism in Kastamonu is to be discussedfrom different dimensions.It is determined getting information about the personal profiles of those who came tothe Sheikh Shaban-i Velî Mosque and Külliyesi in Kastamonu city center andexamination of the views of faith tourism on the contribution to the Kastamonu. Inthis direction, firstly literature search was done about thesis topic, then a surveystudy as a field survey. This survey study was analyzed in SPSS statistics programand the results were interpreted by using `dependency coefficient` method.As a result, there is a significant close link between advances of the faith tourismactivities in Kastamonu and investments on the periphery, this situation can bereflected positively to other economic units as agriculture, industry and servicessector. In addition, it can also be said that the resources obtained from religioustourism and the improvement of the welfare and income distribution of the localpeople.Key Words: Tourism, economy, faith tourism, faith tourism in Kastamonu
