The aim of this study is to investigate the antimicrobial activity of methanol extract of some genera belong to Crassulaceae family such as Sedum and Sempervivum against on fourteen gram-positive and negative bacteria (Bacillus subtilis DSMZ 1971, Enterobacter aerogenes ATCC 13048, Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 29212, Enterococcus faecium, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Klebsiella pneumonia, Pseudomonas aeruginosa DSMZ 50071, Pseudomonas fluorescens P1, Salmonella enteritidis ATCC 13075, Salmonella infantis, Salmonella kentucky, Salmonella typhimurium SL 1344, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Staphylococcus epidermidis DSMZ 20044) and one fungi (Candida albicans DSMZ 1386) by using disk diffusion (DD) and minimum inhibitory concentration (MİK) tests. Results showed that plant extracts were active against MİKroorganisms such as Candida albicans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus faecalis with a different range of inhibition zones. The MIC values for all microorganisms in which antimicrobial activity is observed in DD were observed to be the same, which was 100 µg/mL, except S. infantis and S. typhimurium both which was 5,0 µg/mL from Sedum pallidum var pallidum extract.en_US
